P: Star/flag rating in grid mode

As I look over images in large grid mode, I'd love to be able to tap/slide left side to assign star ratings or flags.  This will speed up my efforts to separate images with potential from those I'll delete.  Now I need to go through one at a time and I'll often star or flag something only to discover a better candidate farther down the process.  Then I go back and remove the star/flag.  Especially when shooting 20 frames/second, there are so many to weed through.

    Hello,

    Why the stars are missing in Grid Mode on the Android App ? Which is not the case in iPhone App ?

    >> Would it be possible to add this function on Android ?

    I am so sad to see, one more time, that this requirement hasn't been implemented in the last update.... 😢

     

    Why iPhone and Android users aren't considered equal 🤔 🤔?

     

    Because we pay the same amount each month for years without having acces to the same features....

      I'd like to be able to set the pick flag (like say with a check box on the corner of each photo) in grid mode on Lightroom mobile. Currently you need to tap the photo and select the rate/review mode after and swipe through the photos. The tablet I have is very large (S9 Ultra), and shows about 16 photos (12 fully, and a partial 4 more) when in portrait orientation in the grid view, it'd be very convenient if I could turn on rate and review for some shoots in grid mode and just tap a check box or double tap the photo to set the pick flag etc it would increase work flow efficiency, see the attached screenshot example

        in Lightroom for iOS, you can toggle through such thumbnail metadata display settings in grid view -- just tap on the screen with 2 fingers.  I don't think this works on LR Android though.

          Hello everyone,

           

          In grid mode on Lightroom Mobile, I can't display ratings and markers on Android while it works perfectly on my iPhone.

           

          Attached is a screenshot of the same album displayed on both iPhone and Android ....

           

          When could we expect to get it implemented on the Android App ?

            In the desktop version we can select "Square grid" which shows if a photo has been edited, if it's flagged, and rating.

             

            I want this in the Android app. I'm pretty sure it's missing on iPadOS as well.

             

            Why: 

            • I use it to see where I am in the edit process of an album. Stepping through every picture individually just to find where I left off is tedious.
            • If I have similar images and edit one, it allows me to easily mark the other for deletion.
