As a paying CC customer, who pays as much for your product as those who chose to own Apple products, I feel it's a little bit unfair to give preference to a certain subgroup solely based on their device choices.

I do understand how software is released and that it does take some amount of work to get it working on the various Android hardware, but I just want to make sure you know (I'm sure you do) that there are many of us out there that want to have this feature too.

I know this post is pretty old but I still wanted to give it a try: If there's any chance to get added to the beta-program of Lightroom Mobile. Please let me know. I'd love to participate and actively give you ongoing feedback.

Thanks for your support and cheers!

Lightroom Mobile should be available on Android tablets. This is far more useful to me than my phone. As well, Lightroom Mobile should be able to access the external Micro SD card for photos. Internal memory is severely limited.
I realize this isn't available yet, but it there a timeframe for release?

Is there an Android app for tablets something we can expect in the near future?

From: http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjourn...

"Lightroom mobile is optimized for phones running Android 4.1.x and later. The user experience is not yet optimized for tablets and large screen sizes. We have restricted the availability to the screen sizes that we know work the best for the present rather than making it available as a sub optimal experience across all the screen sizes."

Agreed. Now that I realize you can't import canon cr2 files into it I'm not sure how much use their is. I got the photo mate r2 app which works well for what I want in an android raw work flow. I still do the critical work on my desktop but it's nice to be able to work with raw files on my tablet and phone.

I'm not sure why this question doesn't warrant a confirmation - I don't have an Android phone or tablet, but I'm still curious..

I don't know what all the fuss is about. You can install Lightroom mobile on a tablet provided you use an alternative store such as aptoid. It works fine on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 running custom rom.
