As a paying CC customer, who pays as much for your product as those who chose to own Apple products, I feel it's a little bit unfair to give preference to a certain subgroup solely based on their device choices.

I do understand how software is released and that it does take some amount of work to get it working on the various Android hardware, but I just want to make sure you know (I'm sure you do) that there are many of us out there that want to have this feature too.

I know. But there are many non-Apple users who have already tried Lightroom mobile with a 30 days trial period and found that there are only few advantages to do the step to a CC licence. So I'd appreciate if those users get a new 30 days trial for lightroom mobile when LR for Android is available.

Correct. You need a membership to test more than 30 days.

If you haven't tried Lightroom mobile yet, you can sign in from the standalone version to try it free for 30 days once the Android version is released.

Seems like a chicken and egg problem to me:
As a lontime user of the standalone version of Lightroom and not owning an iPhone/iPad you don't have a reason to buy into the CC membership and LR mobile. But if you want to tryout the LR mobile version for Android as a beta tester before you buy it (together with LR 6) you should have one.
So I think it would be useful also to let people with a LR mobile trial account do the beta test.

Hi Jeffrey - I posted on 4th Dec with my expression of interest. Did you catch that? I have not received an email. Thx. Richard

Hi Jeffrey,
okay, then that's the problem... ;-)
I currently have only the free CC membership as I use LR as standalone version. Just bought a 12 month photography membership that I will activate when LR6 will be available.

With the free membership it isn't possible to beta-test?

Hi Simon, I don't see any active CC memberships under your account using the email address you've signed in with on this site. You need to have access to CC for access to use Lightroom mobile. Do you have a membership under a different account?

Hi Jeffrey,
I also already posted my interest (23.11.) and got no mail - can you please take me on the list?

My device is a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (GT-N5100)

Thanks and regards,
Simon
