P: Support for HDR Displays

I would like to see Lightroom offer full support for HDR displays.
Photos and videos taken on the iPhone can look drastically different in Apples Photos app vs Lightroom. When you view them in Photos you can see the display ramp up the display into HDR mode and show more dynamic range. I'd like Lightroom to support this, and also allow us to edit photos in this way. Currently if I edit a photo in Lightroom and export back to Photos you lose the HDR portion of the photo.
Almost every display in my home is able to display HDR, and as more and more people upgrade their displays this could become an important feature.

Also, I forgot to add. As I understand it there should be plenty of data to create images that take advantage of our HDR displays from our cameras RAW files, correct?

That is actually the main reason I would want this functionality.
