I'd really, really like to be able to do keywording on my iPad in the LR mobile app. Could save me a lot of Google-time back at the desktop trying to figure just where I was standing for that shot, and what's the name of that building, mountain, river, village etc, etc

Agree. The lack of keywords and other metadata management like description is really a drawback. Now LR mobile is more or less only a tool to transfer photos from your phone to the cloud. A first step could be to at least be able to view tags.

Why are Adobe not responding here? Are there any plans?

Why are they not listening to us - Or even responding - keywords on a iPad has to be one the most important things possible - seriously Adobe ??

I was so disappointed to realise that LR Mobile does not allow metadata updating on my tablet, away from the computer desk (keywords, titles, captions). So I've no use for the whole sync'ing shebang. Absolutely no desire to Develop on an uncalibrated and slow device.

But I'd really really like to be able to catch up with my keywording, etc, while "elder-sitting" away from home.

Please Adobe, listen to your customers!

Having the ability to do keywording would make this app a lot more valuable. For me the ability to organize trumps editing on mobile.

This is very important to me! The title/caption work on all my photos takes the most time, much longer than the actual processing. Let's face it - the desktop is the best place to do all the editing, but I'd love to be able to use Lightroom Mobile when I'm out and about (on the underground, etc) to keep going through my photos and adding title, captions, and keywords.

Very important! 🙂

I maintain hope that Adobe will add the functionality. I wonder why they have not ... is key-wording that hard?

FWIW, I still use LRM as my mobile gallery on the iPad and iPhone -- that's far easier than other approaches. Still, it'd be much better with titles / captions. To get those on the iPad, I pull down my Smugmug galleries, which themselves were generated from LR Desktop. In some ways this is better, but involves more steps, and not everything makes it into SM.

Count me for keywording. I doubt I'd taken the trouble to sync with LR mobile if I'd realized I wouldn't be able to do this kind of work away from my desktop. I just assumed it'd be included and this is the one aspect of photo developing that is the easiest to do on the go and is also, along with the other metadata, crucial for navigating any collection of images.

Yet another vote for keywords/description/title editing from the iPad. I do all my heavy lifting editing on my desktop/monitor, it'd be nice to be able to chill out in the living room with the rest of my family to do all the light work, adding details before publishing.

The lack of this fundamental feature, within Creative Cloud, is such that it has got to the point where I can hardly be bothered with LR mobile. This is a shame as the app is superb but lacks any true impact on workflow as the ability to properly organise photos away from the desk is just not there (pick flags and stars just don't cut it). Asking why this feature hasn't been incorporated is pretty much pointless but is there any glimmer of hope that metadata/keyword editing is on the roadmap somewhere ? Thanks

Tagging on the move in Lightroom Mobile would be a great feature !!
