I'd really, really like to be able to do keywording on my iPad in the LR mobile app. Could save me a lot of Google-time back at the desktop trying to figure just where I was standing for that shot, and what's the name of that building, mountain, river, village etc, etc

Keywording is my #1 request. Please add that ability to the mobile app.

Thanks.

I think Adobe could turn the face feature into a visual keyword creator. I actually started using it for keyword not faces, but very specific items like flowers and features in a shot. I wish that could be applied to the mobile version, but for now this will be sufficient.

Thanks, I try to be, though this subject is trying my optimism. I should add the app is on my iPad but I don't really use it for anything. It's just there so that I'll know when that glorious day that Adobe has added key-wording, has arrived ; )

My needs are simpler... although being able to keyword on my mobile device would be nice, what I really need is a way to find select images, using metadata or filenames. Yes, I know I could do multiple collections, but there are still one heck of a lot of photos to wade through to find that one image from 2006 that's needed right now. And now with facial recognition in Lightroom CC (which, BTW, is brilliant!) being able to filter images by people and/or other criteria would be wonderful. Photosmith allows some of this but it's one more layer of complexity - PhotoMechanic, Lightroom, Photoshop... AND Photosmith. Let's keep it simple and add the features we need to our existing choices.

Yes, but given how long this has been an open area of complaint and the lack of any response from Adobe, it is a small glimmer of hope. Although I do have to admit that even though in LR Mobile's current form I can find no use for it in my workflow, I have left it installed on my iPad just in case that glimmer of hope that we get keyword editing turns into reality. Call me an optimist.

The Android version is lagging slightly behind iOS, but the feature set is on the same track.

Maybe I missed it, but does the Android version have similar problems? Is there an easy way to enter metadata via an Android app that could either be written to XMP or into files, so that at least when I subsequently import Lr can pick up the metadata?
