P: Use the metadata Title field as the exported filename

It would be great to have an option in Lightroom to use the metadata Title field as the exported filename.

For photographers who publish images online, this would make it much easier to use meaningful, SEO-friendly filenames directly from Lightroom, without having to rename files after export. I think it could save quite a bit of time in many workflows.

Which app are you wanting the Title option to be available in? That option already exists in the Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Desktop apps, but not in Lightroom Mobile.

That makes sense then, as I was specifically missing it in Lightroom CC. Thanks for clarifying!

There’s no longer an app called Lightroom CC. There is now only Lightroom Classic (local storage, LrC icon) and Lightroom (cloud storage, Lr icon). Lightroom comes is various forms, there’s the version that runs on mobile devices and is usually referred to as Lightroom Mobile, there’s the version that runs in a browser window and is called Lightroom Web, and there’s the version that runs on desktop systems and is called Lightroom Desktop. And as I said, both the Lightroom Desktop app and Lightroom Classic do have the ability to rename using the “Title” metadata field.
