Push notifications lightroom mobile app

Hi! 

any chance lightroom mobile can allow push notifications just like any other app when there has been activity on the photos/videos? I'd like to get notified when someone likes a photo. Seems like a nobrainer. For people who dont like it, they can still turn it off within the settings of the phone.

    Wow you can't tell me if anyone requets access to a shared album but are now anoying users with dumb tool tip popups while not using LR.

    After years of using it I just thought: "why do people have to message me on external apps if they liked photos or requested access, I should allow the app to notify me", guess what I never disallowed it, it just does not do it. 🤷🏻‍

      It used to work correctly, but hadn't checked for a while. So I checked again after seeing your post and initially there were no issues with LrWeb, LrDesktop and LrM on iPad.....but the notifications did NOT initially appear in LrM for iOS. I waited several days with nothing happening and was about to respond to you along those lines but made one final check first. And of course the notifications are now showing! No idea why it took so long. I tested again, and this time they appeared fairly soon after sending. 

       

      I guess that's not very helpful for you if you're still not getting them, but it does appear that the notification system is still working albeit not very reliably in terms of speed.

      I'm on Android and I've never seen it pop-up a "real" notification.

      Not talking about the in-app notification, it's not a notification if you have to open the app and check for news yourself, a notification is supposed to come to you.

        The in-app Notifications system is supposed to take care of that, i.e. a list of all recent likes or comments on any of your shared images can be seen by tapping on the notifications icon (the bell-shaped icon top right of the LR screen). A blue dot should appear on the icon when new unread likes/comments have been received.
