Strongly agree with this. Grids, guides, and rulers are essential for precise alignment and layout work. Without them, it becomes really difficult to maintain accuracy, especially for detailed designs.

Bringing these features to iPad would make the workflow much more efficient and closer to the desktop experience.

I agree with everyone here grids, guides, and a proper ruler tool are really important for design work, especially on iPad.

A lot of us depend on them for alignment, layout accuracy, and even printing to scale. Without these basic tools, the workflow feels incomplete compared to desktop Photoshop.

It would be great if Adobe could bring these features to Photoshop for iPad soon, it would make a big difference for designers working on the go.

The ruler tool is essential. I must be able to print images to scale.

This is utterly ridiculous that a basic tool like ruler is not on the iOS app! Even more a reason to cancel my subscriptions with Adobe

I’m confused. Why is this feature request Under Review? The Photoshop iPad app clearly states that this feature request is in Development.

Yup 100% you want me to pay just for iPad photoshop and you don’t have the most basic function.
and yet they added AI to it. Like cool, don’t need it at all but how about the most basic necessities

Sadly, I have to agree with you 😫

I work for a software company and our product manager is always talking about the bottom line. As a software developer, I am always talking about making our existing product better for customers.

Yeh and the bottom line is. If your software can’t meat the basic needs of the customer they ain’t going to pay for it. Good for them for adding Ai but give me the basics first. It takes no performance hit for this and probs only a few lines of extra code.

Software subscriptions don't lead to a company working on things that their customers need to be implemented, what they do is give the company a stable bottom line so they can do more stock buybacks and executive compensation packages. It will take a lot of cancelled subscriptions to get corporate to take notice. Anything else leads to laughter from offices filled with your cash with executives Scrooge McDuck swimming in it.

Yup but marketing and dumb managers usually are running the show while the intelligent creative people tell them what’s needed and is ignored in the politics and paper pushers.

The fact is, Adobe just doesn't care about the Community.
It would take just one member of the core team to inspect the community feed, a couple of times each month, to realise that we have been asking for this feature for many years.
Absolutely terrible optics for such a powerful corporation.
