Round corners

Many products have tiny rounded edges. However rounding corners in the original 3d file is not practical before the end of the design process. For this reason "another render app" has a great feature to add a small radius to sharp edges of meshes at the time of render. It gives an extra layer of realism and is a real time saver. Stager could have that feature as well.

You can do this in Solidworks Visualize and it's an absolute game changer for photo-realistic renders of products. Please - add it as a feature.

Hi @JM Le Goff,

Round the corner of an object would require a specific shader allowing to round the normals of the edges at rendering, which would indeed be a great plus, but from what I know, isn't currently in our plans. The current focus of Stager is more related to stability.

Best regards,

Hi, is there any news about this feature?
It could be very cool.
When importing mechanical parts in Step, it could be very cool to round hard edges to get a better realistic aspect.
Thanks
