I need the ruler and count tool on the apps cause i cant always sit at my desk. Would be really nice if my disabled backside could count my cells in bed and measure the distance migrated. With the newer M chips in ipads they should be able to cope with it nevermind the mobiles with better chipsets...(yep i have to do this manually because image j doesnt work on ipads and it cant tell the difference between edges)

6 years ans still no support for rulers or grids. Adobe, are you listening?

Yes! Photoshop for IPad definitely rulers and guides seeing it’s the premier app for design work. Much design work is exacting, need snap to guides and measurements. It’s not just a Willy-nilly drawing program. Even photo retouching needs exactness.

Thanks, hope it can accommodate.

Strongly agree with this. Grids, guides, and rulers are essential for precise alignment and layout work. Without them, it becomes really difficult to maintain accuracy, especially for detailed designs.

Bringing these features to iPad would make the workflow much more efficient and closer to the desktop experience.

I agree with everyone here grids, guides, and a proper ruler tool are really important for design work, especially on iPad.

A lot of us depend on them for alignment, layout accuracy, and even printing to scale. Without these basic tools, the workflow feels incomplete compared to desktop Photoshop.

It would be great if Adobe could bring these features to Photoshop for iPad soon, it would make a big difference for designers working on the go.

The ruler tool is essential. I must be able to print images to scale.

I would love to see ANY additional functionality added to the iPad app. The lack of development has been exceptionally frustrating

This is utterly ridiculous that a basic tool like ruler is not on the iOS app! Even more a reason to cancel my subscriptions with Adobe

I’m confused. Why is this feature request Under Review? The Photoshop iPad app clearly states that this feature request is in Development.
