Dimensioned Symbols

I'd like to be able to use DIMENSIONED symbols. So when I make them 2 1/2” tall or 3" tall they import exactly that size or I can adjust the size/scale when importing them into a box either by the size of the box or toggle in the tool that allows for a measurement.  If the item is 2 1/2” x 2 1/2” and I put it in a 4” wide box, I’d want it to stay 2 1/2” wide.  So perhaps the toggle is set to either height or width.  If it’s a circle, I don’t want it to make flat edges.  In the end, I want the SYMBOLS  to remain DYNAMIC, so that I have the paths so the item can be cut on a laser cutter that uses paths.
