Flash Player (read-only)

Due to the fact that they stopped and prevented the use of the adobe flash player, on January 12, the page used to scan documents and photos from HP Scanjet G 2410 stopped working.I urgently need a solution since after the second screen the execution of the program does not continue due to the blocking of the adobe flash player.Excuse my English but I am using a translator

You know who is most negatively effected by ending Flash Player? TEACHERS!!   I am a middle school teacher and I used flash player games in EVERY SINGLE LESSON I teach. Now that the students are learning at home or online this compounds this DISASTER even more. Flash games for any science topic were everywhere and free! Now, there are literally no games anywhere to help my students understand a concept or get to play within the system on their own if they finish early or whatever the case may be. I am so upset as I am having to redo an entire lesson that was built around a flash player game. These small companies are not updating these mostly because they don't have the money to and I am now out. GREAT! Hope you got all the money or whatever kickback you received for allowing this popular application to end.    [Edited by moderator for language translators.]

We are a professional dance company, and one of our classic shows, made about 12 years ago uses Flash Player for dynamic video projection. I have no technical knowlegde about Flash, all I know is that the .exe-file still runs, even on my personal desktop where Flash has been uninstalled and brand-new company laptops which never had Flash downloaded. The original files have been lost so all we have is the one .exe file (with back-ups), run on a very old laptop which is kept unconnected from the internet. My fear is that we will be unable to do the show ever again if this laptop stops working and we cannot run the .exe-file on other computers. But the fact that the file still works is confusing me. I don't know if there is a difference between the web-plugin and standalone files, and I don't know where to look to figure this out myself.

Hi, I'm really not sure where to put this information but Adobe needs to know. I am an Art teacher and have been teaching virtual since last March. I have been using art games and interactive museum sites to help me teach. Since Flash player has been taken offline ALL these parts of sites and games do not work anymore. Whats the plan moving forward? What other option do these sites have now to create their content? -Thank you

Hello, please help me with the following problem:After the Flash Player was discontinued on 12.1.2021, my computer keeps going into a white screen with Flash logo. This happens always after a couple of minutes of nonactivity. I have uninstalled the Flash Player using the unistallation program provided by Adobe, it did not help. Then I deleted some Flash Player folders that the uninstallation program had been unable to remove, this had such an effect that the Flash logo on the white screen dissappeared and now the white screen in truly white only. Then I tried re-installing and deleting Flash, but that didn't help either. This is annoing, how can I get rid of this white screen that appears to be caused by the Flash Player?

Games won't open. Says Flash Player is blocked. Followed steps to ensure it is on, it is. I use Microsoft Edge which has Adobe Flash Player integrated in it so it won't let me download it again. I play two games on FB, Gin Rummy and Spades, they won't open because Adobe Flash Player is blocked.  It is on under settings.  Any advice?  

Adobe Flash supported many other software products and now it - and all of the supported products - no longer work.  What a heartless move on Adobe's part!  The company has never been good at customer support, but this takes the cake!  It will cost me more than $1,000 to replace everything from hardware to software to regain the capabilities that Adobe has killed with this decision.  My reaction:  "Adobe, you're scum!"

I have well over $1,000 invested in Rosetta Stone language learning software packages that no longer functioning because Adobe Flash has been discontinued and taken off my PC's. The CD based Rostetta Some will no longer work.Rosetta Stome revised there format away from PC based operation to web based and a subscription payment system. So basically my investment is now worthless unless I can get some thing to work with Rosetta Stone software. Any Ideas?

Flash Player... my projector requires flash player to remote control it via the ethernet.I am being FORCED to lose this ability by the loss of Flash Player with an enforce cessation of use.Yes, I have contacted the manufacturer. No, they will not update the firmware to make it so I do not need FlashPlayer.What is my alternative?

I keep getting a pop up which I can't move nor get rid of until I switch off my pc. Right click gives a menu relating to Flash Player.  Anyone had this problem?   I would appreciate any ideas on how to solve this.  Screenshots attached. Many thanks

I get the Adobe Flash Information icon appear on the bottom right hand side of my desktop and it will not go away (Dont know if this is real or fake?).  It doe snot indicate what to do - just sits there even after clicking on it.  I belive it is to do with thre moval of Flash - but it does not do anything. We have uninstalled all Flash (as is required)  but it keeps popping up each day.  It been going on for weeks and it blocks that part of the screen and you can't move it. Even now I have to move the 'community ' screen across because my typing disappears behind the logo and I have no idea what is typed behind it if I stop or want to check spelling.  Very annoying.  Does anyone else get this.  Is it real.  Any solutions?? Thanks

I can't delete the required files somewthing about needing permission from TrustedInstaller. For Windows operating system, download the official Uninstaller from Adobe.Make sure that you have closed all browsers, tabs or apps.Double-click on the downloaded Uninstaller.When prompted for confirmation, click on “Yes.”When complete, you will be asked to restart your computer to complete the process.For the last step, press the Windows key and ‘R’ to bring up the ‘Run’ command.In the “open” box, insert C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash and hit “Enter.”This will open the specified folder. Delete all the files in this folder.Repeat the previous three steps, but open the folders and delete the content of:C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash%appdata%\Adobe\Flash Player%appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player

I have a lot of fb games that need flash player, what do I do now.....DO i chuck those games or what?

I've run a reliable old HP printer/scanner for several years, and have suddenly, without warning, found the software that runs it simply no longer opens.After an inordinate amount of running around the manufacturer's support tools and sites, it *finally* emerged that the problem was the closure of Flash and Microsoft's equally unannounced (to the lay user) removal of it.So what am I now supposed to do - find the money for a new printer? Various Microsoft apps HP directed me to have proved equally useless but at least they gave me an error message to let me know.What if I had been a hard-up mum struggling with my kid's home classes during the current lockdown?This is atrocious treatment of customers by all three of HP, Microsoft and Adobe.

With the ending of Flash, I'm currious to know what the alternatives are going to be for Doll makers, Avatar creators and other dress up games of similar sturcture that have ran off Flash for years. One of site I frequent has a notice of how to work around the no Flash issue which requires installing a previous version of flash and a webbrowser that is not mainstream. Isn't this more dangerous than Flash itself?  I've searched for an avatar creater with supernatural options that is not flash based and is decent enough for my OCs however I'm comming up short handed. Any advice is greatly appricated.

I download the Uninstaller, and then it tells me that I need to close IE before it will continue to run. So I close IE (even though it has the rest of the instructions that I need to finish the un-install!!!), and the Uninstaller will not continue to run. It just sits there and stares at me mockingly.

I am using a windows 10 laptop, uninstalled Adobe Flash Player as instructed, but now I have this annoying flash/information box that I cannot not get rid of in the bottom left hand corner of my laptop (all windows - see below)  If I shutdown/restart it is not there, but as soon as I start workingo on the laptop it reappears.  Any ideas on how to fix?

Me he tenido que comprar nuevas versiones que no necesitan adobe. Lo paradogico es que tengo una colección de libros de idiomas que vienen con cd-rom y necesitan el adobe flash player 10 para poderse visualizar. Resulta que funcionan perfectamente a pesar de tener el adobe totalmente desinstalado de mi pc. Mi pregunta es, ¿por qué pasa esto? ¿Seguirán funcionando en el futuro? De otro modo me tendré que comprar una nueva edición de toda la colección de estos libros. De hecho ya los tengo pedidos. Pero si me van a funcionar los cd-rom que ya tengo, no tengo que gastarme casi 400 euros que vale la colección de la nueva edición. Por favor aconsejadme lo que debo hacer. Muchas gracias.

Since Adobe has decided to not only eliminate the Flash Player, but try to force everyone to uninstall it my opinion is that anyone who would purchase ANY Adobe product after this is a fool. After MANY people paid probably millions to purchase the creation software and produce Flash content they now lose it all at the whim of Adobe. This is not even the first time Adobe has done this. Remember the Shockwave Player? Whoever at Adobe made this decision needs to be fired. They buy a competitor (Macromedia) and then gradually eliminate their products. Adobe should be ashamed. I certainly will NEVER buy another Adobe product.

I have a sonicwall appliance that uses flash, you cannot use the appliance now because flash will not RUN!!!   so a $10,000 appliance is JUNK!  because adobe killed flash.. all i get is this big that will not allow me to run my expensive product , so now what?

I am using Desktop Aplication based on C plus plus and Flash content, but i am running the standalone Dot net application via WiN forms.It will play the SWF file which is published in Adobe Captivates. IF i have changes my system date back to 11th jan 2021 my application working fine, but after that it will shows the screen not supported. My user interface is also design in Flash using AS 3.0 but its working but when application try to load the SWF file published from captivate the screen apears. Flash EOL.... Any 1 help plz... There is a lot of efforts to develop this application.
