Flash Player (read-only)

Hi everyone, I'm not exactly sure if the removal of FLASH created the JAVA Script Error you see below but it started just after I uninstalled FLASH....I, like all of us Windows users, received plenty of warning about FLASH coming to an end.Well it did, and the last message I saw about FLASH no longer being supported came with a “Remove FLASH now” message which I thought OK let’s do it thinking that there was a new option available. Well I haven’t seen any new updated to FLASH Player, all warnings never told you that a new alternative to FLASH Player can be downloaded HERE….nothin!As a result I now see this JAVA Error message on bootup every time I restart my ASUS FX505D-AL014T Notebook, is this related to uninstalling the FLASH Player or is this some other issue?Ta ThanksClint - Melbourne

As of 2 hours ago, The flash player I had in my IE browser just died. I wish to say this to Adobe. This was an unwise decision as I had used Flash Player to watch animations and games OFFLINE. The animations original sources are long gone so this move to cut off those who used it offline was beyond mean. I will be looking into all possible means to get an older independant player so I can continue to have an offline means to watch and play these forgotten animations.  

I need someone to tell me how Im supposed to open a file now that Adobe has ended Flash Player. because it has been almost 3 days since my classes started, and I still cannot open my assignment links, because when I do, it says ADOBE FLASH PLAYER IS REQUIRED, to update flash playter click here, then when I do, it obviously doesnt allow me to do so. I need to open my files and links asap. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP 

So, i have some of my program text online supported by Adobe Flash player. I see the EOL has been enforced and I am now frustrated especially because I do not know how I can continue accessing these materials. I am not seeing any alternative. Each time I tried to access the material, I see Adobe flash has blocked content. I tried for hours to see if there are alternative solutions on the website, but all I see was EOL on Adobe Flash player.  Does anyone know what I can do as this is quite frustrating? 

I have tried to uninstall flash from my pc and nothing is working. I have tried unsing the Flash uninstaller, It tells me the uninstaltion is done and i need to restart my pc. I restart my pc and check  C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash  Where all four Flash files stills exists, I try removing them but i get a Error message saying i Need premission from Trueinstaller to make a change to that file. I looked up the forums who tells me I need to update my Pc with the windosw update to fix this so i go to windows  update and update my  pc and restarting in and the files are still there and i still cant remove them. So as instructed i go to windows support, Windows support tells me They cant fix it as its a Adobe Program and i need to go to Adobe's support i go to adobes support and Adobe support tells me That there is no longer a support for Flash and that i need to go to adobe forums, So here i am help me i cant get this Malware of a Program o

HP Solution Center software came with the scanner, HP has no replacement now apparently Adobe has rendered my scanner useless by disabling Flash Player. Sounds like a lot of people will have this issue. Is there any workaround, update or solution? 

Respectfully, my  HP Deskjet F4172 printer needs Adobe flash player (AFP) in connection with its  in particular HP Digital Imaging Monitor and HP Solution Center and it does not work without AFP, regarding that Adobe Flash Player will not be suppoeted anymore by end December, 2020, what is the alternative for AFP? Hp Support does not answer clearly, thanking you.

I play games on a site called Royal Games that is run by King.com.  Since flash player was discontinued, I am unable to access these games.  They work on HTML5 and will not allow me to access them.  Can you advise what I need to downlaod or install to gain access please?  Flash Player worked previously.

hi i uninstalled it but it cannot be removed due to end of life.  How do i get this off my computer? 

i know the EOL of the flash has passed but i would like to override the block of flash content on my computer im willing to risk it

Hi, I don't have Adobe Flash application in Control Panel of my Windows10 laptop. I also performed by downloading the uninstallation file, it says uninstallation is complete and needs restart, all is done. But I can still find Flash files in these paths C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash and C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash I tried to Delete thos files but gives an error- 'You require permission from TrustedInstaller to make changes to the file.' Screenshot is attached below Can I get some help how to delete these files?

Hello please tell how to play flash games on google chrome without flash after the end of life?

Chrome is removing it, Windows is removing it, Flash is no longer supported. Anyone can still use flash if they have a 3rd party flash player but I am going to miss it. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm using Resolume (a program for VJ) and only use it offline.All my movies are flash (simple animations).I cant converted to mov or other format.Need use flash player enabled on my windows 10 system.All my other systems are w7 and no problem usin older flash player. 

Hey there. I'm really starting to miss Adobe Flash Player ever since you gave it the ax a few weeks ago. Are there any plans to bring it back? I mean, even though I still have it uninstalled and all, I really need you guys to bring Flash Player back.

Hi there, i have a big problem. without flash, i am unable to administrate my NAS-Server cause the menu is based on flash. Is there any workaround for that problem? Otherwise i have a big problem. 

Is there any way to retrieve data from an Adobe response file now that flash player has ended? I was not pryvy to this end of life!<eeek>

I found that I can use flash by using version 29.0.0.171 and the browser will still continue to run flash.If I keep using this version, is it legal? Also, in China, there is a website flash.cn that says they are an official partner of Adobe and are responsible for continuing to maintain the flash function in China.Will I be violating their rights by using an older version of flash?

Hi, my chromebook will not allow me to install adobe flash player, even though my chromebook is up to date. What should I do?

I've been trying to uninstall Adobe Flash remotely to 100+ Machines. I've been using the Adobe flash uninstall.exe file. But it doesn't remove the flash.ocx file. The flash.ocx file is locked by the "trustedinstaller". Even with administrative rights the file still can't be deleted. I need to do this for 100+ Machines so a cmd command would be great! (Windows 10)
