Flash Player (read-only)

I have several machines that were upgraded to Windows 10, but have an older version of Flash  ActiveX MSI that was installed before the upgrade. Since Flash Player is built into Win10, the MSI is prevented from running, including being prevented from uninstalling the older version. After digging around, it appears that Windows has updated the ActiveX components to the latest version and that the entry for the older version is just leftover cruft. However, it is important that this entry be removed because our software inventory system is indicating that these machines have an out-of-date Flash installation.I want whatever resources (registry keys, files, DLL registrations) that were installed with this MSI removed. The Adobe Flash Player uninstaller won't remove the ActiveX MSI. What is the correct way to remove this old installation?

Umm... so I use an app on my computer that needs Flash Player to run, I use the app daily. The app is Gacha club (please don't laugh) and I was woundering if anyone might have any way to help.. Thanks 

I am finding it difficult to understand *why* it was necessary to no longer allow anyone (read:  not commercial use) use Flash Player anymore.Now, I realize that the answer to this might be obtained, after wading through an overly technical and overly legal description about... hmm... not sure.The problem is that I have read the document about "end of life" for this product many times, however it does not address the reason directly.  Certainly not with any specifics--explained to a native English speaker.  Even more, it's unclear to me and this is after working in the software industry in Silicon Valley for decades.Therefore, I would appreciate an answer that directly addresses why the end of life had to occur.  And why would someone who had installed it prior to the end of support date, would still not be able to use it.  Never, ever having the need to discuss anything with "support" during the long time it had been used previously.Because intruding into the

I have an app on my Win 7 machine called PoserPro 2014. It is a 3D manipulation and rendering application. It uses "libraries" of 3D items such as human figures, props, materials and so on. It uses Flash to access these libraries. Today, I opened Poser, and got a big "F" in my library panel. Most appropriate, because now I am truly "F-ed!" I have a graphic novel I have been working on for over 10 years, and the 'libraries' I mentioned contain thousands f dollars worth of content I cannot now use. Thank you SO much, Adobe! I am having a heck of a time with adobe flash update. I never had problems with it, but every time I went to update it my old MATLAB kept popping up and telling me to sign into that. I had that downloaded from freshman year of college and don't use it anymore. I understand the reasons to end the support for flash. for your users Adobe should provide a way to migrate their contents(learning) or apps to a new technology. please let me know if i am missing on this news.

I miss playing my favourite games on my Chrome browser. It would be nice if you'd make an alternative to Flash Player. That way I won't lose my memories with games that use it.
