Flash Player (read-only)

Yesterday, I got a notification to update the Adobe flash player.  I did so and it infected my computer with malware.  I had to go into safe mode, delete temporary files, run a virus scan and a malware scan and back up to the last restore date to get rid of the malware.  This left me having to update the flash player again.  Today, I tried to update the flash player again and had the same problem.  I had to delete, scan and scan again, and restore to the last restore date.  I am reluctant to try again for fear of permanently damaging my computer.  I know I can only over-ride the old flash player version for so long before I won't be able to anymore.  How can I install the flash player update without infecting my computer?  I have Windows 7.

Hi,I have a question I have the latest version of adobe flash player I have windows 10. I have a realtek onboard sound controller and everything works fine I get sound out of all 4 speakers when I run things from my computer audio video etc.Also I use the maxthon web browser and before I restored my operating system because of problems I was having I was able to run you tube videos out of all 4 speakers because I installed a maxthon exstention that disables html 5  and now since restoring  I have the new version of flash that I recently installed and the one that came with Maxthon not sure which version the one that came with maxthon is but both will not allow me to hear you tube videos out of all 4 of my speakers. Is there a older version of you tube that will work with this. I have everything for all 4 of my speakers turned on in windows and with my sound controller. So I'm wondering if there is an older version of flash that would fix this issue. Cause I think I had an old

Trying to play Farmville, but my Flash Player crashes about every 2 minutes.  Any ideas about fixing it?  I've tried everything suggested on the Adobe website.

Have never had issues updating Flash Player.  Tried to update yesterday.  Get to the point of the installer downloading window showing 5% then it stops, although the main update window that has the 3 sequential lit dots continues.  Usually use Mozilla Firefox; it shows Shockwave as a security issue, cannot check "Always Activate" only "Ask".  Safari has no warning.  But neither allows full downloading, never get to installation.  Help.Secondary issue is that Firefox browser has become selective on which websites that I have bookmarked it will open without an logical reason that I can determine.  All are bookmarked on Mozilla and have opened immediately until yesterday.  Can these two issues be linked?

Hi, I've downloaded Adobe Flash and Shockwave but I'm not able to install either on my laptop after bringing it back to New even though I've tried all of Adobe's suggestions...  Does anyone know what I could possibly do to get either installed, please?  I need them to take a test in the next week.

hi there,I was informed that Adobe were releasing a new version (Flash Player version 21.0.0.191) to resolve a bug that impacted us last week.I can still see that .182 is the version available to the public.When will the next version be released, given that we were told it would be available days ago?

We don't want our clients performing these updates one by one. We need to detail so we can use tools to push the updates to our clients.

Long story short - the msi install of the latest version does not register in Windows 7 Enterprise x64. Causing Flash Player (FP) websites prompting to install it.I previously uninstall the version 20 via msiexec /x before passive install of version 21.From "Flash Player (32-bit)" control within Windows Control Panel, at the Updates tab, ActiveX version is saying "Not installed". In fact, I have all 3 versions installed by msi files (ActiveX, NPAPI and PPAPI) but only saying PPAPI is installed.So I give it a go at the ActiveX exe version, after install, the FP is registered for the ActiveX. And now there are 2 entries of "Adobe Flash Player 21 ActiveX 21.0.0.182" in Programs and Features, and the exe install being less in size.Does anyone have this issue and anyone know how to fix it (get them registered in Control Panel-FP)? Be it Registry/extra command to the msiexec PROPERTY.Cheers guys!

‌I've got windows 10 and trying to load a website that uses flash player. I've turned on flash player in advanced settings and turned off the active X controls. What am I missing?  Help!!

Since I had to reinstall windows 10 on my dell latitude e6400 a week ago, i cannot get audio streaming on movies on youtube, only when streaming music. i get the video on everything. using microsoft edge as my browser. I am very low-tech, but you may be able to help anyway! I tried the one fix I found in this forum, so, yes, flash is enabled in my Settings.
