Hello,I originally created a Fuse account but I see it is not there anymore. I am still unsure all the animations I would need in my game but I am afraid Mixamo will shut down like Fuse did. Is there a way to download several (all?) animations at once or can I buy a physical copy (DVD/BD) of all the Mixamo content. I am thinking some people might be interested in this.I saw some scripts that downloads all the site but I am guessing this is not allowed.
Hi - I have a character that loads fine. I can add animation and downloads fine. When i take the same character and add a prop into one of his hands, it no longer treats it as a new character, but goes straight to choose an animation. Regardless of what i add as an animation the character just stands there - the obvious issue is that the step to set the wrist, chin, etc markers are being bypassed ... anyone have a solution to this? thanks in advance, dan
Hi, Im loving the Mixamo Blender rig addon. In the tutorial videos they do say the copy animaton from one Mixamo rig ro another Mixamo rig does not work. Is there an ETA on this feature? I could really use it. Andy

I found a model of the character Michael from GTA V and was able to at least rig it in Mixamo. However I have no idea how to apply the textures, there are quite a few, 79 file in total. Is something a noob like myself can tackle or is it way beyond beginner level? Thanks! https://gamebanana.com/models/download/3334
Hi, Is it possible to export/download the Mixamo animations at 25 frames per second? Is there a way to to transform the frames per second from 30 to 25 in Cinema 4D ? Thanks
Hello, I made a finger and put on a character, i "made" the character with fuse, I cutt all less the hand, I can sell the model of the hand with the finger? Or I must to take only the finger? Sorry for my bad English xD
I can't set animations on my own character. And my network is also good. Only loading and loading.
hi i was wondering if mixamo will be adding support for disjointed body part characters anytime soon or if there is an alternate way for this.
I am trying to make a .bvh file or .fbx file for my motion capture, but I am a newbie in this area. Your work surprised me. How did you make such a high-precision animation?
I would like to sell my full original model, it has been rigged by Mixamo.Could I sell that 3D model which has mixamo bones and rigs?or Must I rename or something?
Hi all,I'm an Unreal Engine 4 Technical Animator, and last year I released a plugin for UE4 called Rigel, which in short is an "All in One" full body motion capture plugin, supporting various hardware ( Vive Trackers, VR Gloves, iPhone, and so on ).As of now the plugin supports only the Unreal standard skeletal hierarchy, but I'm currently expanding the possibilty to natively support hierarchies from major DCCs ( Blender, HumanIK in Maya, CAT from 3ds, Daz3d, and so on ), and I would also like to include Mixamo. My question is the following:I'm currently using the "Passive Marker Man" as the test subject for the setup, but I would like to also ship the updated plugin including this character as the "base character" for the Mixamo setup, which the user can later replace with another Mixamo character. Legally speaking, it would be possible to do something like that? Or I can't share the character in any form using with my plugin, and I need to just ( for example ) create a cust
"... mixamo_rig.py line 2160 in import_animTypeError: 'NoneType' objectr is not subscriptable" You ask for feedback but unclear how to do so, but I found this forumImport fbx, hit Create Control Rig and this error appears Also, some more tutorials on how to go Mixamo->Blender->UE4 would be helpful. And I'm not sure how to manage/load multiple animations. Finally, how will people know the plugin has updated? How will they provide feedback? You should put this up on GitHub to manage all that.
Hello, lately, the way Mixamo has been rigging hands is unusably poor. A few months ago (possibly last year?) the way hands were rigged were just fine. As seen in the attached images, the "Old Version" has hands that bend in an reasonably acceptable way. This old version was rigged last year. In the image labeled "New Version", which was rigged yesterday, you can see the fingers bend in an unacceptable way. Can we please roll back the way mixamo rigs hands and fingers? I have to manually open my end product and import weight maps from older models to correct the issues, but this is an extra step that just wastes time and other users may not know how to do this.Thank youJerrel
Hi, Just a wish list item... it'd be truly fab if the Mixamo team could add a 'bicycling' animation rig to the sets at some point.Ideally both 'upright' (as-in 'lady cycling to the local shop' kinda thing) and 'racing' (as-in 'Tour de France' kinda thing). Many thanks in advance for giving it some consideration 🙂 Frannie x
I'm a student that just created my first character in Blender. I want to upload my character in Mixamo to animate it. I exported it as a OBJ file and FBX file but I kept getting errors by uploading my character to mixamo. I read some posts on the commuity forums which allowed me to tweak my character and uploaded it to mixamo. However, she's missing her face and hair. Does anyone have any suggestions, I have included my blender file and screenshots. This is what my character looks like in blender This is what happens when i insert my character into mixamo.I have uploaded my character to google drive.https://drive.google.com/file/d/18YbvLow-d8qLw_e06SIYld3P41KHh8iK/view?usp=sharing Any suggestions I would be greatful for your help. Thank you.
Hey, been using Mixamo for a while already and was really happy to see the add-on announcement for Blender. However, when using it with a custom character, I can't seem to make the control rig work. Some extra info that could provide clues maybe?I downloaded the rig with the skinning test animation, though I zero'd out before creating the control rig.I saw in another post that this could be related to a bone axis issue. I tried importing the fbx with many different bone combinations (y and -x, y and x, y and z, y and -z) but they either broke the rig more or looked the same. Automatic bone orientation didn't work either As an extra, I'm curious if anyone knows if there's been any issues when exporting this to game engines? I know exporting from Mixamo straight to an engine like Unity tends to work fine, but I don't know if the new control rig may introduce mechanics that might make exporting to game engines problematic. Thanks!
Hey. I keep getting this error whenever I try to import my character that I made in to Mixamo. I never used to get this error before, and the model i am importing does not have a skeleton. I have attached a screenshot of the error. Also the file extension for the model is .fbx
I'm trying to find a way to play animations sequentially with smooth transitions between them, pretty much what Mixamo does when you click on an animation pack and watch the preview. I'm using three.js and I can get transitions fine, but the problem I have is when the animations are not in place and the model moves around, my model always resets its position back to the starting point for each animation. A lot of times people use in place animations and control movement with code, but Mixamo seems to be able to do continuous transitions with animations that don't have the in place option and I'm curious how that's done. Or does Mixamo actually control all movement with code in the previews?
im running into a major issue with mixamos animations, im using the character model amy, and using the walking animation, but when i imported the fbx download from mixamo and imported it into blender, the left leg is bent throughout the animation, and there isnt a way to fix it. ive even tried usuing a different animation, the orc walk, but still it has a bent left leg. does anyone know a solution? or is this an issue with all the mixamo animations?
Hello 🙂When i choose a model it appears without a shadow, see jumping.fbx file attached. Am i doing something wrong?
Hey, I've been struggling to find an answer online to my specific sceneraio, basically, I've been trying to upload a zipped file that includes both an .obj and .mtl files and all the textures it requires (and without the textures it requires too, to see if that would have worked) to Mixamo with no success of Mixamo mapping my character. I'm using Fuse from steam since Fuse adobe has ceased, exporting it to a folder in obj format, including the packed textures, and zipping it all up to one single package. Uploading it all to the site. Uploading the mesh by itself works just fine (just the obj file) but all the rest I struggle with. Would love if someone's got a solution for me, sorry, I'm quite a noob in this as I've started game developing very recently.
