Questions

When just putting in the fbx file for the model it looks finePlacing the points for the auto rigger looks fineHowever after it has been rigged, som textures lose their colourWhen I click the back button once, to go back to the placement of the rig points, it’s then become gray, but it reverts back if I redo everything again. I’m not sure if this problem has anything to do with my fbx file from blender or not. I hulled the character in magicavoxel in order to save loading times when implementing the character in a game, but I feel like it shouldn’t impact the surface, especially since the lower body is hulled too but there’s only the issue of the textures mid-way-leg upwards. Is there any solution here, maybe about how to export the fbx file, what to include and not? For context I’ve clicked off animation, I have -z as the forward as otherwise the animation became really messed up, and I’ve only selected mesh. Please, I dont know why my model doesnt work on mixamo I use the Mixamo skeleton for my riggingI think can be the size of the mesh or a skinning bones error

I just started working with Maximo in Blender 4.5.I found a UTube video and out of the gate it all worked great.The issue I have is that I need to Pan to a character, standing still, and then have the character start walking. I tried moving the keyframe points along the time line (Before I applied the Follow Path constraint). That caused a MESS. The character is at the start point at the proper time, but the character starts walking at keyframe 0 rather than the keyframe I need it to begin.Is this an issue that can be fixed?

I uploaded a chracter and tried to download it with added animation.It is not working. I tried from different locations.

Hi. I'm a teacher creating animations for my students during the pandemic to keep them motivated.Believe it or not, I'm animating in PowerPoint with Mixamo models and backgrounds done with PS.I uploaded a free model from the Valve game L4D2.https://www.models-resource.com/pc_computer/left4dead2/model/12699/The upload worked perfectly as far as I can tell but not with the textures (these are included in zip).I tried to export from Photoshop but it didn't work and Blender is very complicated for a noob like myself. In PS I could see the textures properly mapped.I've searched 3 hours of youtube videos but none provided any answer.Any help would be greatly appreciated.CheersJohn 

I put all the markers on the character, but it says this.Does somebody knows why it could be ?sorry i'm beginner to this( sorry my bad english btw) 

Hi,What I'm trying to do:1. Download a character from Mixamo2. Edit it in Blender 3.2 (for example I need arms to be a separated mesh parts)3. Export it to FBX with textures4. Upload it back to Mixamo to find some animationsDuring last step I'm getting "Sorry, unable to map your existing skeleton" error in Mixamo. In attachements - my exported fileHere is my export settings from Blender I'm new to 3d modeling and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. 😞Please help meThank you.

Every time I export an FBX file from Blender (version [your version number]) and upload it to Mixamo, the site fails to process the file.OBJ works fine, but FBX gives an error. The same FBX imports correctly in Blender and Unreal, so it’s not corrupted.Please look into this issue or update the documentation with supported Blender FBX export settings.

Hello! I have a vroid/vrm model that I made and is pre-rigged and everything. The model loads in fine but when I try to select a preset animation it gets stuck loading forever. I have it in both fbx form and everything + T-pose and I just cannot figure out why it is not loading properly. I have followed like 10 tutorials and spent hours trying to figure this out!! 

Hi!The skeleton of my model in Mixamo looks strange. I am upload a fbx 2014/2015 file from Maya. Everything looks fine, but when I'm turn on the skeleton mode, my skeleton look like big disks. Animation works fine, but not perfect. What I'm doing wrong? Why skeleton look so strange?  

Could they please fix this, I was working on a project, and would really love to stick to Blender 4.0, its causing me a headache, i thought i could use, rigify, but mixamo's offers a faster workflow for me. Even when installing it takes longer and halts for some reason now, and i have to click to the side or resize the window to show the addon, when i proceed to activate it, the error pops up.please @Adobe fix this.

Hello. version_char is deprecated since Blender 4.0 https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/commit/345fc2b1f6de7624a09cd91048476e2a932f83fc Now, at least in 4.3.2, it's gone for good.I've peeped plugin and didn't see that uses the _char attribute where it stores that deprecated value.Si, I've removed the assignement and, at least, the plugin can be installed. To solve it until developers update the plugin for all, do that:1. extract files from zip.2. edit the file mixamo_rig/lib/version.py3. remove line 7 (_char = bpy.app.version_char)4. create new zip with the whole mixamo_lib folder5. import the new zip in Blender.6. be happier. Hope it helps!

Hi I am new to Mixamo and I wanted to pick the Male Ybot character, that i see as examples for animation but when i click on a male example animation, only the female character would come up every single time. When i went to go check the character list, suprise male Ybot character is not in the list? I dont know if this is a bug or done on purpose. but very annoying, I dont want to choose one of the other characters with skins i just want the blue male character. SOLUTION: search in "Ybot" or "bot" in the character list and the male character will show up. Why isn't the male character in the list to select in the first place? I don't know but if anyone else was wondering how to get the male blue character you see in animation thumbnails, this is how it worked for me. Hope this helps for anyone else.

Please help me I'm new in blender and I tried to animate a character in mixamo but it was too heavy so I unsubdivide it and now when I put the markers nothing happen and then ask me to put the markers again

Hello everyone. I'm having a problem with uploading my character which I already riggedin blender, in mixamo website for animating.Mixamo can recognize all the bones and everything is good, but the problem is when I use a custom rig, Mixamo shows an additional bone from spine to the armatures origin. When I download the model from Mixamo and open it in Blender again, the bone is not there anymore, BUT spine keyframes are applied to the Rig object ,not the bone! By the way, it doesn't happen when I rig my character in Mixamo but I kinda nee to use my own rig, I would really appreciate it if you have any solution for this. I'm trying to download a mixamo animation for a Y bot character, but the site just hangs and takes forever to prepare the download. This happens only with the Y bot character, but that's the one I need.

Hi I have been trying to upload an FBX file, however I get a blank (grey) screen once my character has been uploaded. If I upload an OBJ file it works, however later on I seem to have uv texture mapping issues when I try to remap textures. Why will my character not show and what is the best way to get around this? Kind regards 

I am visiting mixamo but it looks like their site is downed. This has happened with me before too. I am requesting Adobe creators to fix this issue please. I tried different browsers and devices and WIFIs but none of them worked. This problem wasted many many hours of me.

When I try to tick the box, the same "'bpy.app' object has no 'version_char'" message pops up, even when I already have a model imported.

FUSE has got to be the 7th time Adobe has discontinued a major softwre for my production. I used to praise them for being geniuses at supplying artist w/tools we need. That was before this new guy took over, who has no interest in what/how to pls artists. NO MORE but no more.So many artists love FUSE. It filled a NEED, [Adobe]. With their trashing of FUSE, I ABSOLUTELY HATE ADOBE NOW and want despearately to stop paying them.[profanity removed by moderator] They felt they had wasted money and blamed me.THIS IS WHY I NOW HATE ADOBE. I can't trust the software programs. Looking for alternatives, Tumult, Affinity and to stop watsing so much money/month.  

I have been trying to upload characters for 2 hours now, but none of them are being uploaded.My best guess is that the aero update might be messing with the uploading stuff.I'm still not sure, but I hope it's fixed.Btw, I tried everything else, it's just the upload that's not working.
