Hi Sorry for the late answer. i tried to go to Reader Preferences -> Security (Enhanced) and uncheck the option 'Enable Protected Mode at startup' and see if that makes ROL work on those files. Hi, I do not succeed to read a tagged PDF with read out loud on acrobat reader I'm on windows 10. I made this test with different documents When i use reader : with a tagged document : when i use the read out lout, i do not hear anything. But i can select the text with the same non tagged pdf : the read out loud is working When i use acrobat Dc pro with a tagged document : the read out loud is working with the same non tagged pdf : the read out loud is working I tried on two different documents. Do you know why the read out loud option is not working with reader and a tagged document? Thanks,

Hello CHad, the text on the green background is red? shouldn't it be yellow. Maybe i have some gaps in accessibility and misunderstood something. Ok for the reflow, i thought it was for low vision user. Do you have a ressource which explains how they use their tools? and which tool they use? Do you think that that tagged pdf is useful for low visual user? or do they only need a "normal pdf"?

I unchecked "Only change the color of black text or line art." but it still reflows badly Here is the version without reflow (background still not red and text not yellow) And here is the reflowed version and the bottom text disapear...( highlight) I didn't find an adapted solution for the moment Thank you

The colors do not match correctly (text should be yellow). 3) and the reflowed version. Hi, software : acrobat reader acrobat DC screen reader : NVDA, Jaws Pb : When reading a tagged document of more than 50 pages, jaws and Nvda are only reading one page and not the entire document. Impossible to go to the second page with the screenreader. When reading a tagged document of less than 50 pages, no problem. Pb occurs on different documents. Beginning of a solution : going to edit>preferences>reading> screen reader options and choose "Read the entire document" So it work well for me. My question is : how can i create a document with the property "read the entire document" by defaut? Indeed, i tagged a document of more than 50 pages and some blind users sent me messages because they could not read more than one page. It would be better if the document could be entirely read by default. Ty

So 1 ) delete the first page, save, close the doc, open it : the 'new' first page behavior is the same 2) checking another tagged document : no problem (but only docs from indd and word) 3) reading the doc with nvda without any tag : i succeed to navigate with nvda from a page to any page 4) reading the doc with nvda with only tags on the first pages (no re order, no other option) : i do not succeed to navigate from a page to another So tje problem comes when i create tags. Hi Cmgap, I tagged all the document, and passed the full check accessibility tool. I can navigate from a page to another with Read Out Loud. Nevertheless, i can't navigate from the first page of the document to the second with NVDA and Jaws... Ty

Hi, i tagged a pdf from a power point. When i read the tagged pdf with jaws or nvda i do not succed to read the following page. To resume, i can read the first page and not the others because nvda do not go to the following page as he used to do. I tagged a lot of documents but , this is the first time i tag a document from power point. Is power point the pb. Can i find a solution with acrobat? Bonjour, Quand je génère mes PDF accessibles à partir d'InDesign, je vois des balises vides qui correspondent par exemple à des sauts de paragraphe. Pouvez vous me dire comment éviter ce phénomène car je dois retrouver toutes les balises vides pour les supprimer ce qui prend du temps. Bien cordialement.
