Hi, Did you continue on and hit the 'Export' button? It should then give you the options to 'Write Layers' or Flatten (as in screenshot). I have same illy version.

I'm also having this issue and interested if it's been permanently resolved for you? I'm on Catalina 10.15 and using a wacom intuos pro. However, even when I unplug the wacom, the layers just stick to the mouse curser. What can I try please? I did the latest update to Photoshop today hoping it'd fix the issue, but nope. Thanks.

So this happened. Cant open a file I've been working on for hours. Been here: "Can't Open the illustration. The illustration contains an illegal or misplaced operator" Didn't work. Been here: How to recover a corrupted Illustrator (AI) File | DesignPoint Seems too old & i cant work out any 'Content recovery mode' for my version of illy on the Creative Cloud - version - 2017 - 21.1.0 Can't find my preferences file. It's not where I'm told it should be. Managed to do a simple reset of illy prefs but that didn't work. Did quite a bit of searching for answers but kept going in circles, it seems like fixes are for earlier versions. Don't know how to get access to this binary code people are editing, so I cant delete the " offending operator " ---> p ' Losing my marbles and need someone to explain like I'm 5, how to fix this. Step by step please. Thanks!

I need to create an action that saves for web at a 850 x 655px. When testing my action for the first time, it shows in the save as dialog box, that the image has been reduced to that size in percentage. So it works ok. However when testing the action on an image of different original ratio, it still reduces the percentage that was originally recorded, rather than just saving the image at 850 x 655, which gives me a different image size. Does anyone know how I can retain the 850x655 image size each time? Thanks

Hi, I found that what I needed, was use the Pencil.(not the Brush) When i was using the Brush - the 'variable width' and the 'brush definition' wouldnt stay where i set them... The Pencil and the Brush work differently - in that the pencil will retain its settings....(yay) (with 'New art has basic app' unchecked) Anyhow,Im sure there's more to it, and Im no expert, but i hope this helps you out.... ?

Hi There At the moment its unchecked. Is there more to this option than meets the eye? ....it would be a good and practical setting... if it worked for me... but from my recent experience, it appears to be temperamental.

Thanks.... i have just tried and tested some of that. With no luck . This problem has been lingering for a while now. During some projects, it wont be an issue. It's occuring at the moment however. If i set the attributes for my brush/pencil/stroke etc...., they should stay that way until i change them again.... Yes?

Does anybody know why my brush is changing back to 5pt flat, when i start to draw with it? I choose brush, set it to basic, start drawing and it changes to 5pt flat, or some other brush type. Grrrrr... The 'New art has basic appearance' option has been ticked and also not ticked..... But neither option seems to be working.. Thanks for your ideas....
