I have a suggestion. For those who started a while ago, you probably created 1024 bits certificates on android and finally ended up to still use old Animate 2015 CC because it's packaged with JRE that still support old certs. It would be great if we find a solution to keep using old certs and new certs.

I need some clarifications about the further developments. I've been using adobe air through animate CC to create games on android and ios. My questions are: chris.campbell ajwfrost75 1- Who will continue to support and develop Flash Player and AS encapsulated in AIR for android and ios? 2- What about Animate support? Hello everyones, for some reasons the trick no longer works. When I try to add a new AIR kit to Animate it says : The selected folder does not contain a valid AIR SDK It's a big issue here. Creative Cloud do not offer to install Animate CC 2015 it no longer works. Does anybody have a solution? I downgraded java version jre 1.8 build 111 but it's the same result...

As kek says, copy the jre folder from 2015.2 version and replace it in 2019.2 I use 2019.2 and it works great.

I attempted to contact several times adobe support team about that issue ( I have a lot of apps using 1024 bits cert because I started in May 2013 to post apps ) and no one at Adobe offered a real solution here using recent versions of adobe. Oleg Korchagin offered a nice workaround for now.. I just tested it with Animate 2019.2 and it works. “Could not access the digital certificate. unable to load a certificate in this file” Steps: 1. Quit any version of Animate if it is running 2. Copy C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Animate CC 2015.2\jre 3. Rename C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Animate CC 2017\jre folder to say C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Animate CC 2017\orig_jre 4. Paste the jre folder that you have copied in step 2 5. Launch Animate CC 2017 and publish your android app using the older 1024 RSA certifcate Please note that this is just a brute-force method and not a certified/recommended workflow.

Still the same.... All other animate works fine (2018 and below) but they dont use the same authentication mechanism.... It occured right after I entered my credentials.

Colin, I do have cs6 but it's not a handy solution for me... When you go back and forth between versions of animate you can loose animations. I would prefer to have Animate 2017.2 by far. How is it possible not having a simple executable of this version?

Hey Klaus, First thanks for your help I really appreciate. 1. To answer your question, The multiple versions are installed on my computer. They run fine I dont have issues yet with those. 2. "In my CC Desktop Client under Apps -> INSTALLED APPS -> Animate CC and Mobie ... -> OPEN -> Manage -> Other Version I could select CC (2017) 16.5.1. Wouldn't that be an alternative for you?" I already tried it and the version 16.5.1 is Animate CC 2017.5 and I can't use the 1024-RSA cert with this version I also tried to find a direct link on prodesigntool website. For some reasons ADOBE fails to provide a direct link for this version which is very important for old publishers like me ! Anybody got a direct link for that version (2017.2) ?

Hello, First I'd like to say that I've searched across the forum for similar questions but none of them worked out for me. I work with multiple versions of animate : Flash CS6 (pretty rare I use it), Animate CC 2015.2, 2017 and 2019. I have a lot of apps using the old certificate .p12 formely created with flash cs6 (2013). For that reason, I can't continue to update the apps using this old certificate except with Animate CC 2015.2 (it's because of a java reason) Now the main reason why I post on the forum is that Animate CC suite for some reasons when I manipulate a fla can start to be very very very slow or even crash... A simple click on the interface, let's say : I want to access the property panel or the main tabs on top of the IDE, I want to see the as3 code on a specific frame/layer, I need to select a graphic object. It starts to be SLOW or take ages to execute my action.... I tried many things like: 1. reset the profile 2. uninstall animate 3. empty the %TEMP% folder 4. update my graphic cards driver to the latest version ( I have 2 graphic cards and 4 monitors ) 5. Reboot computer I'm on windows 10. Intel core i7, 16 Gb rams, every licenses are officials! My Kaspersky says I have no virus. The worst thing is that when it starts doing this with a fla, I can't get rid of this behavior. The same fla will run perfectly on my laptop or a different animate version (2017, 2019...) Could someone from adobe could contact me or someone from the community has some tips (please dont tell me it's the fla because it works fine on most recent animate). Because of that, I can't compile the adobe air for android fla using the old certificate... Thank you

See those settings like the included files, can we possibly change these values with JSFL? Also in deployment tab, I would like to know if we can preset password and certificat path... I know that most of the values are taken from the manifest file but some of them are not accessible... Any help guys would be highly apreciated

I tried to modify the external libraries but it doesnt recognize the ANE as native extension but instead if creates a folder link .... I attempted to look in the documentation but for some reasons Adobe lacks of providing more support for that great extension. Anybody got a link on latest documentation? The one I found is : https://help.adobe.com/archive/en_US/flash/cs5/flash_cs5_extending.pdf I'd like to find the way to change values of the target player (in my case its mostly Air settings) and change the external libraries (ANE files).
