I have a iMac 2017 edition, 8 core processor, 32 gb of ram and 1 terra-byte of hard disk space and yet it struggles to run adobe bridge - I have 200+ gb of available space! It's unbelievably slow for a 5k computer, but only slow when using Adobe products, does anyone have any recommendations?   At one point it used 900% of my cpu according to activity monitor and regular uses 100% to 200% of cpu.   Is anyone experiencing this? It crashes randomly and sucks up a large amount of processing power?   I am currently using Catalina, and Adobe Photoshop 2020 and Adobe Bridge 2020.     Sucking up a lot of processing power Constant Crashing       UPDATE:   Just uninstalled everything adobe related (removed all adobe files from my hidden library folder, application support, preferences etc ) and no change just fired up bridge and it hit 600% cpu usage when trying to load a folder of tif files.   Installed nviewmp and work great! Hi All,   I'm not 100% sure what i'm asking for is a solution , the corrct solution or the most effcient way but i cannot think of any other way but maybe someone knows a super simple solution? So that's why i am asking.   So, the desired outcome would be for a script that crops to the files selection/path 1 and then recrops the file to be a 6x8 ratio crop or cropped to 2000 x 2688px with a 10 px margin from the closest part of the Path 1 selection to the images boarder (I don't think that makes any sense!)- without clipping/cropping over/distorting the cutout image.   Here's the current situation, I have: - 3000 Tiff files - All files have a clipping path named "Path 1" - All files are cropped 3000 x 3000 px 300 res   How the images look currently:     How i would like the images to look:     Each cutout is completely different, one cutout once cropped to its own selection might be longer in width than height and the opposite can be found for other images:   Once i have cropped to the selection of the above image the files is now longer in width than heigth which is the opposite of the hat image found at the begining of this query: Any help would be much appreciated!   Thanks all!   c       ... Hi All Just wondering if anyone else has struggled with the problems we are currently facing? When we open an image on our network share, edit and save it the image either duplicates saving the original but saving another as (example) Adobe Photoshop CC 20183882651207641 or it deletes the original and saves out an Adobe Photoshop CC 20183882651207641 file? The duplicated file in our example above is always saved without a .tif or .jpeg file extension. Sometimes we receive a disk error before the issue begins to affect us, it also comes and goes so at this point we are not sure what causing it? Has anyone been effected be this same issue?
