Why can’t I update to Bridge 16.0.6 if my computer works perfectly well, simply because I don’t have Windows 11?Adobe is dropping support for Windows 10. I know it is an old operating system and that it now receives very few updates, but is it really necessary to exclude all the users who are still using it?Bridge is only the beginning. Next November, when the 2027 versions are released, what will happen if you don’t have Windows 11? Will we have to forget about continuing to use Bridge? The easy answer would be to buy a new computer, but is that really an option for everyone? The current prices of RAM, storage, and graphics cards are absolutely crazy, and sadly, they seem likely to keep going up.Wouldn’t it be possible for Adobe to continue supporting Windows 10 for a little longer, especially for applications like Bridge, which shouldn’t necessarily require the latest operating system technologies?
Hello! Why Bridge always shows document creation time different - one day later than Windows Explorer and OneDrive web app (website)? Thanks!

When I display a folder of RAW images from my camera, the thumbnails are being brightened. I can see the original unaltered thumbnails for a second then Bridge brightens them quickly all as I watch. Is some sort of profile being applied? Is this from a change in colorspace? I’d like to see the RAWs just as they are. I couldn't find any setting in preferences that would do this. Thanks in advance.
Adobe Bridge drastically reduces my Internet speed when it is open. With Bridge closed: approximately180 Mbps download / 250 Mbps upload. With Bridge open: approximately40 Mbps download / 80 Mbps upload. The problem occurs with bothBridge 16.0.3.21 and 15.1.7.I tested:Photoshop alone: no problem.Reset Bridge preferences: no improvement.Startup scripts disabled: no improvement.Windows proxy disabled.Blocking Bridge.exe in Windows Firewall: no improvement. No network drives or folders configured in Bridge. The problem is confirmed with both Ookla and Eolo Speed Test.Very unusual behavior:openingEdit > Preferences > Advancedtemporarily restores normal Internetspeed (around 200–300 Mbps). Closing Preferences immediately reduces the speed again. The problem is reproducible every time.OS:Windows 10
I am running Windows 10 and currently using Adobe Bridge version 16.0.3, which works perfectly for my workflow. Because I have no plans to upgrade to Windows 11, v16.0.3 is the final compatible version for my operating system.Despite this, the Creative Cloud Desktop app is permanently stuck displaying a red notification badge and a "Not Compatible" warning forcing me to update to Bridge v16.0.6—an update my system cannot physically install. It is a massive oversight in user interface design that users cannot dismiss, hide, or ignore updates for applications that are hard-locked by operating system requirements. I want to receive update notifications for Photoshop and Lightroom, but I am forced to look at a permanent, un-dismissible warning for Bridge.I am demanding that the Creative Cloud Engineering team implement an "Ignore Update" or "Hide this Notification" switch. When an app reaches its final compatible version on an OS, the Creative Cloud app should:Recognize that the maximum comp

When using the Metadata panel in Bridge, using Tab to jump to the next field (standard behavior for decades in any UI with fields), the order is unpredictable. One day the tab order will behave one way, and another day another way. Sometimes they’ll even go in order!! Who knows, there is no rhyme or reason. This has happened for years in Bridge, back through Bridge 2024 at least. It seems to be only in MacOS, but I haven’t cross-checked in Windows enough to be sure. Immensely annoying as I daily am keying in metadata values, and being forced to use the mouse to swap fields is a big drag.Sometimes restarting the app fixes it, not always.Sometimes rebooting the Mac fixes it, not always. I haven’t found a reliable workaround.
Recently the option to require ctrl when rating or labeling images in bridge was removed in the preferences menu. I am requesting that this option be restored. Ctrl is not required when rating or labeling images in Lightroom Classic. The discrepancy is very frustrating when switching back and forth between the two programs.
With the latest Bridge update, I see that the keyboard rating method now required me to hold the command key (Mac OS) and then a number 1 to 5. Previously it was simply just the number. Seems simple, but my habit is strong and this is a nuisance. How can I set it to just require the numeral keys? Thanks.
Since the latest Bridge update (~1 week ago), I can't save changes in the editor. The Save button (usually bottom-right) and other bottom-of-screen options vanish, as if the window is cut off—even in full-screen. Using Windows.
Suddenly BRIdge doesnt open anymore on my pc. ZeroThe new version only works with windows 11 but my computer cannot do that.I am looking for a download to continue with the older version but its nowhere to be found. Can anybody tell me where or how to find the Bridge version that works with windows 10??Thanks!
How do i open multiple windows from different directories? I keep getting “maximum tabs opened” error - is maximum tabs one tab? Also, why is the window bar so much smaller than others? (image)
I've been spending some time trying to research if there is a quick key method to switching from filmstrip mode to essentials in Bridge. I have not had any luck figuring it out. I'm running Bridge 15.0.2.432 and a quickkey would speed up my workflow tremendously. If anyone has any advice, please share it!
Bridge does not safe edits in camera raw permanently.Open multiple pictures in camer raw, make edit, save with “Fertig”.Change filters in Bridge. Open pictures again. Some pictures have lost the edit. I gave camera raw and bridge plenty of time to safe. (CPU load was back to base) Is not usable like this!
Images often flicker obnoxiously in slidewshow mode.
Hi guys, question: Why does Adobe Bridge from version 2025 not show thumbnails/previews for the MP4 (maybe other rich media files with video content)? It was so a handy/useful function, and it really works well. I didn´t change anything in the production chain, taking video the same way as I did before, and it stops working and displays just an annoying icon of the player instead. I tried to clean up the cache (Purge cache for selection) as well as to reinstall HEVC codecs in Windows, but nothing helped. Is there any reason why this stops working? Thank you very much for the answer. Have a nice day 🙂Configuration: PC / Windows 10 fully updated / Adobe CC 2025 all apps / GPU Nvidia - drivers updated as well.
I haven't used Bridge for years. I used to use it (for photos) the way I now use Lightroom for previwing and organisting images. I remember it would also work farily quickly for videos. Now it seems to not work at all. I have been importing 100s of videos (MP4 and MOV), and there are no thumbnails or previews. These are files I can see thumbnails in Windows explorer, and play thme when I double click on them. Is this expected behavour?
Is anyone else having issues with Camera Rawcafter the lastest update on 8/15/26?
Bridge 2026 keeps crashing when I open it
I clicked something by mistake & my entire workspace got messed up. I spent ages getting it almost back how it was, but I cannot see how to get the image info - file size, pixel dimensions, keywords etc - to show underneath each thumbnail, so that when I click on an image I can see its size etc. It used to be there automatically, but I’m finding the latest version of Bridge a complete nightmare to manage; nothing is where it should be! Some of this info is in a ‘metadata’ box in the left column, but I can’t move it & I can’t see if this is the info I want visible anyway. The left-hand column next to the thumbnails has gone all wrong anyway & the info that was there before has vanished. Why is it now showing me a whole list of file properties? I also can no longer see the ‘filter’ option which allows me to apply labels & ratings to files. Please can someone tell me how to get this back into the left-hand column? Please see screenshot - can anyone advise please?
I tend to shoot multiple exposures/bracketing, so I can decide later which is the best candidate to post process. When I am doing first pass on batch of new pictures via Full Screen Preview, it would help to have a histogram of the picture, just like other values (ISO, Tv, Av) - requested in another suggestions here already. Thank you.
.rar compression in bridge has problem. When i compress a file to rar in bridge the original name of the file loose a part
