There is no facility to search the list of keywords for the one I want to add (mine are grouped) into categories. At present I have to have a separate keywords file which I can search in notepad. Ideally it would be great if it could suggest keywords, ideally from a list that I have.
IE: from the viewing panel; to open a photo in Bridge, the space bar is used and a double click to send the photo in light room.. Light Room Classic uses the double click to open a photo. Why can’t bridge use the same keystrokes as light room. Use double click to open the photo in its own environment and create a drop down menu or right click menu to sent to light room. Also let the edit button in this suggestion box also let you edit the title.Commants=Commands
I use Illustrator for all sorts of projects and one of those is to create layout comps for PowerPoint templates so that I can easily export vector elements to use in PowerPoint. PowerPoint supports a variety of image formats, including vector formats (EPS, WMF, and EMF). Through experience, I have found that EMF files are the most stable vector format for PowerPoint. The problem is that I am unable to preview the images I’ve created when it comes down to organizing and archiving a finished project. I’ve been contemplating switching back to a competitor’s standalone software product (no subscription necessary) that will do what Bridge does, and more. The only reason to keep bridge on my system is for the color settings management which, when applied through Bridge, works across all the Adobe software so I don’t have to install it in every program.
Camera Raw has no customizable toolbar for presets. Frequently used presets should be pinnable as icons directly in the Camera Raw toolbar for one-click access — without opening the preset menu every time.
"In Bridge 2026 with multi-monitor setup, the Full Screen Preview (Spacebar) always opens on the main monitor — not on the monitor where the Preview Panel is located. Please add an option to choose which monitor the Full Screen Preview opens on."
Hello Adobe Bridge Team,I would like to report a long-standing issue with the Preview Panel in Adobe Bridge 2026 on a Mac with Apple Studio Display (5120x2880 / Retina).PROBLEM:The Preview Panel does not scale up images to fill the available panel space. Instead, images are displayed at their native pixel size, resulting in large grey/black borders around the image — even when the image resolution (e.g. 2100px wide) is smaller than the physical display resolution (5120px).This makes the Preview Panel practically useless on high-resolution Retina displays, as images appear very small regardless of panel size.Affected features:• Preview Panel (floating or docked)• Full Screen Preview via Spacebar (opens on wrong monitor in multi-display setups)• "Generate Monitor-Size Previews" option in Preferences → Advanced does not reliably fix the issue and resets after every Bridge restartSETUP:• Mac with Apple Studio Display (5120x2880)• Adobe Bridge 2026• Multi-monitor setup (Studio Display + 2x
I dont know if there is a way already, but I would like to be able to turn on and off the edit on images in adobe bridge. When I have edited a photo in lightroom the Xmp file make it so that you can see the images edit in adobe bridge. This is very nice, and I like that it kind of fades in when I click the image (the edit fades in), but I haven’t found a way to turn the edit off and on again. It would be quite nice if you could add this. I would also like to request a better zoom function. I feel like the one we have now is quite bad, and it would probably be nicer to have the same zoom function as Lightroom. Click and drag, or even scrollwheel. I would just like more flexibility when I am looking into details in my image. its not quite big enough with the current zoom tool. Thank you!
AFTER posting here...can I edit???
The loupe seems to be closing correctly now but it “FLIPS” when you lower it to the bottom of the screen. I’d like a way to STOP the flipping in Preferences.
Hello Adobe Team,I’d like to request a feature that allows users to export and import Bridge collections along with their manual sort order.Currently in Adobe Bridge 2026:Manual sort order for folders and collections is stored in a central database with machine-specific IDs. Copying .filelist or collection XML files alone does not preserve the visual/manual order between machines. There is no user-facing way to export/import collections in a portable format. This limitation makes it difficult for users who:Work across multiple computers. (I use two computers at home and in photo lab at the college I may use a different computer each time.) Collaborate in teams Need to back up curated collections with specific manual orderingBy contrast, in Lightroom Classic, exporting and copying a catalog preserves the sort order, demonstrating that Adobe already has a functional model for portable, ordered collections. The Bridge approach would be somewhat different as Bridge uses the local computer’s
To have the ability to color code folder icons instead of using the current labels would be such a great feature to help with quick viewing and finding folders in the left pane. Bridge is such a powerful hub for the creative cloud for organization in addition to being able to initiate calling up of needed applications. Color coding a folder to quickly recognize what you need would be an amazing update and from what I can tell having researched this a very popular feature request. I hope you will consider implementing this in a recent update to make bridge the perfect app for finding, organizing and the first step in a quicker workflow. Kind Regards - Patrick
Hello Adobe Bridge team,I would like to report a possible regression in filename sorting for Chinese folder/file names. In the current version of Adobe Bridge, when I sort folders by Name, Chinese names do not appear to be sorted by pinyin or by the expected locale-aware order. Instead, the order seems closer to Unicode/code point order. For example, these folders are displayed in this order:皮衣睡衣破布童装However, if sorted by pinyin, I would expect an order closer to:皮衣破布睡衣童装This issue makes it too difficult to browse and manage Chinese-named folders efficiently.I remember older versions of Bridge handling Chinese filename sorting differently, so this may be a regression or a change in locale-aware collation behavior.Windows version: Windows 10Adobe Bridge version: 16.0.3.21System language/region: Chinese / Japanese / EngilishSorting mode: Sort by NameCould you please check whether Adobe Bridge is currently using proper locale-aware sorting for Chinese filenames?Thank you.
Adobe has done an outstanding job adding support for new HDR image formats (JPG gain maps, PQ encoded AVIF, etc) to ACR and all versions of Lightroom. It would be incredibly helpful to add HDR display support to Bridge for those who edit their images in ACR rather than Lightroom (to make it easier to browse and manage these images). Ideally, support would cover both preview (large views) and content (thumbnails / filmstrip) in Essentials / Libraries / Filmstrip / Preview tabs. If prioritization is needed to add support incrementally, the most important is for the preview (large views) in the default view (Essentials).

Many professional photographers and videographers now use multiple camera brands together during weddings, events, studio shoots, and commercial productions.Currently, wireless photo/video importing requires separate apps from Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Panasonic, DJI, and other brands. This slows down workflow and creates unnecessary complexity.Requested Feature:Adobe should add a built-in Universal WiFi Media Import system in Adobe Bridge, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro.Suggested Capabilities:• Detect nearby cameras automatically over WiFi• Support multiple camera brands on one platform• Import photos and videos wirelessly directly into Adobe apps• Background transfer while shooting• Auto-sort files by camera, date, and time• RAW photo and high-bitrate video support• Live preview and quick backup options• Multi-camera workflow support for weddings and eventsBenefits:• Faster workflow for photographers and videographers• No need for separate camera-brand software• Easier multi-camera
years ago I spoke with Capture One about adding a feature like this and they did end up adding it… but for retouching tiffs/psds I love using bridge to manage my local editing phase for large batches of images. so basically the user can copy and paste a list of file names or numbers, separated by a deliminer (a comma, or a forward slash, or a space bar, maybe the user can choose) and then bridge will find all the images that fit that. so you can search for multiple images as once instead of manually having to search each image. also the search bar currently does not reset after you make a search, you have to navigate at the top in the folder path back one step. that’s slows down the workflow a lot for retouchers. the searchbar should reset after you delete what is in it- and return to the folder that you were in. thanks for listening! and thanks for making such amazing software. I’d love to chat more, I have a lot of ideas and happy to share
Would like the ability to sort and Keep Folders on Top.
i need to know the path in other programs to past in.
Would love to have an autocomplete feature when entering keywords in Bridge via typing. I have keywords setup to check, but sometimes it's a hunt and peck. Typing names can lead to misspelling. If a name is in the keyword list autocomplete would be amazing!
when i search for templates… the templates has only the photoshop template symbol.. but not the actual image.
This is 2026 already, but Adobe Bridge (v16.0.1.15) / Camera Raw (v18.3.0.2528) still can NOT work with HEIF/HEIF files!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! It even can’t convert to any format to be able to work with them! I have to use Photoshop to open and save as TIFF for example. 2026.05.04.mo.
It would be nice to see exported images (at least) in HDR.
Acrobat adds spaces after keywords separated by commas/semicolons. Please can this feature be optional (user can turn it off) as the inclusion of spaces is not helpful for all DAM systems.
#1 I like the workflow option in Bridge. It would be even better if it had an option to keep a photos colorprofile adobeRGB instead of making it sRGB. #2 Also it would be nice if the workflow could make preview jpg's from rawfiles WITH the adjustments made in rawconverter. If #2 is not possible it would be nice to have the option in export files (which do process the raw adjustments) to not only put the preview jpg in a new folder (wich it can do) but also rename it.
