Hi Ashutosh,   thank you for pointing this out. Indeed, I have the app installed as I use Logitech Mouse and Keys. I updated from version 8.50xxx to 8.54xxx and the error went away after a restart of the computer. However, after launching Photoshop a service message appeared saying that the certificate for the Logitech extension was not properly signed. I will monitor this and see if other issues persist. Hi Community - Since updating Illustrator this Morning to version 25.3, I get a permanent "script alert". The alert pops up every few seconds and majorly disrupts my workflow. Thanks and Kudos to Willi. Works like a charm. For those still doubting and not being able to work it out, I use ID CC 2018 (USA Localised) and I followed Willi's steps as follows as I need Arabic Language support. 1. Open the Creative Cloud App from your Status Bar or your Application folder. 2. Go to "Preferences", click on the Creative Cloud Tab and change App Language to your desired version. In my case English with Arabic support. 3. Exit Preferences, but stay within the Creative Cloud App. 4. Go to Apps. Here you see that although you have installed InDesign the panel asks you to install again. You do NOT have to uninstall you current InDesign version. 5. Click the install button next to InDesign. The installer will ONLY install the additional plugins and Language Support. Thats it. 6. Restart InDesign, and you will see the above mentioned change in Panels. Warning though. Back up your customised settings, Workspace etc. The Intsaller will overwrite some of them and unless you ahve backed up, you might be required to reset certain settings (I had to). Since Acrobat 9.0 adopted all settings from Acrobat 8.0, I had to trash all my custom settings and reset Acrobat to default. Then setting up a complete new set of options. That worked. ... View more

I have the same issues. ID seems to go in an endless loop of Background tasking. @Peter: What are the presets you are talking about? I have the same problem with newly created ID files and legacy CS3 files opened in CS5. I would love to see a workaround and eventually the "old" PDF distiller graphics back so that I know what's going on. ... View more

And another twist... I installed DE on my MacBook Pro without trouble. Smart me, I checked the Application Support folder for DE and found that the installer created a folder named "Vouchers" which I did not have on my Mac Pro. I went back to my MacPro and created the same folder on this machine. Still doesn't work. I then removed all DE files from my Mac Pro (Application Support files, Preferences, App file) emptied the trash and restarted. Copied the files and folders from the MBP to the MP hoping to finally make it work. Still not. Removed all gain. Restarted again. Downloaded the "stand alone installer" and went on for the... I lost count... time. Result. NOT WORKING. I would like to use this feature on my main computer and would like to offer my clients some new feature. But it seems that free software is not as much supported as paid apps. If somebody from the DE team reads this, please be so kind as to find a fix for this issue and post it right here. Though I am late to the party, I have exactly the same problem. I am on the latest built of DE using it on Mac OS X 10.6.2. I have removed and reinstalled DE now for the fourth time all resulting in the same message. This is very annoying and I am not sure where to add the "Folder" in OS X. I could try to put it in User -> Library -> Application Support but the question remains what to name the folder. Ideas please....! Uli ... View more
