I have a Igear KVM switch allowing me to use 2 Pcs for video and photo editing. It was working fine until I bought a new Microsoft Classic IntelliMouse. I was looking for improved resolution over my 10 year old mouse. The cursor moves but it can go horizontally only. When I reinstall the old generic Dell mouse it works fine.

Hello!I have bought NVIDIA 1080ti card, but in the Adobe support told be, that there is bug (can't suport GPU acceleration during decoding) in current Adobe Premiere Pro + current NVIDIA drivers. This bug will be fixed in the next NVIDIA drivers and next  Adobe Premiere release, which will come near to the Christmas holidays.Can anybody recommend me AMD Radeon card, which will be enough to work with 4K 60fps HEVC video editing (from GOPRO HERO 6)?

I'm considering to buy a second hand Macbook Pro with an nVidia 650 with 1 GB (I think actual prizes on new Macbooks are overvarrated considering performance), but I'm not getting clear information if it's possible to make this card running Mercury Playback with this version of Premiere Pro. Hello everyone,     I have a question in regard to CPU utilization when it comes to exporting videos from Premiere Pro CC 2018 and Media Encoder CC 2018.  Up until two days ago I was using a computer with an Intel I7-6700K CPU (4 Core 8 Threads), 16 GB of DDR4-2400 RAM, and a GTX 1080Ti.  When exporting from Premiere Pro CC 2018 or Media Encoder CC 2018 I would check Windows 10 Task Manager and could confirm that the encoding process was using around 95 percent of all CPU resources.  This being the case I knew that basically my current setup was giving it all to get that file or files encoded in the least amount of time possible.     Fast forward to yesterday and I built a brand new desktop PC with a Ryzen 7 1800X (8 Core 16 Threads), 16 GB of DDR4-2400 RAM, and a GTX 1080Ti.  Keep in mind this is a completely new desktop with all software freshly installed.  After getting all software and drivers installed and setting al

Looking for advice on hard drive configuration for a 2016 15" Macbook Pro Touchbar using a Blackmagic Design hard drive bay. Daily livestream podcast media work will consist of photoshop, after effects and final cut pro. The video of the livestream will be managed and switched by a Roland VR4HD so the mac won't be doing any of the encoding.I have (4) available drive bays that are Thunderbolt 2 (i'll have to get a usb-c to thunderbolt adapter to connect to this bay).I've read the generic guidelines post on drives .. Hello Premiere CC user. I have a question about the new iMacPro. For years, I have been working with the MacPro (Maximum Performance), but at the latest when I work with Red Giant or Sapphire PlugIns, the calculator gets very slow. Do you have a tip for me, which configuration makes the most sense especially for the Premiere CC use? For 4 months I mostly work with footage from the RED 8K. System Specs:Intel i7-2600k 3.4 GHzNvidia GTX 760 2GB SLI (2 cards both 2GB)16 GB RamI am exporting a 9 min 46 sec project, footage originally 4k, in 1080p H.264, 24 fps, VBR Pass 1, through adobe media encoder. Originally, thinking that it would be faster to do so, I set my renderer to CUDA, therefore using my GPUs  to "accelerate" the rendering process. It was predicted to take about 6 hours to render. I stopped it and switched to Software Only and the render time is so much shorter. Knowing this, I am wondering if SLIs are compatible with CUDA rendering in premiere and/or adobe media encoder. Or are my GPUs bottle-necking the rendering process? Or both? [Moderator note: moved to best forum]

I’m finishing my bachelor in animation this coming term, and have only been using the computers available at our uni’s media department up to now. When it comes to video related work I am mostly interested in working on short films and music videos. Maybe some freelance work in the future. I work with stop motion and 2d animation. The programs I use are TV Paint for 2d animation, and After effects for animation and post production and of course premiere. I don't really work on Maya right now, but might upgrade the computer to do so in the future. I also want to be able to work on live action footage. Keep in mind that I’m not the biggest special effects nerd when it comes to live action though. I like to play around with different mediums and platforms, and play around visually. After effects and premiere will be both used for personal artistic projects and probably some small freelance work from time to time. My mid-2014 Macbook Pro (2.6GHz, i5) broke on me yesterday. I took it to a Mac specialist and he explained that because I use CC daily for work (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Muse, After Effects) my i5 graphics card has come to the end (or something like that).
