Want to buy a MacBookPro, should I go with 2014 (last CUDA supported GPU) or latest?

I want to prioritize performance in Premiere Pro CC 2017 above all. Then After effects.

I experienced the change of performance that was CUDA back in the days, but now some say it doesn't seem to make any difference anymore. We now have better OpenCL and also Metal.

The last Nvidia graphic cards shipped in MBPs were in 2014, so should I go for that one, or just buy the latest which have the Intel Iris graphic cards?

Any MacBookPros Premiere users out there?

Although I'm on PC (far better bang for your bucks), I know that CUDA is a propietary technology from nVidia, so neither AMD or Intel will have this built-in and therefore you're relying on OpenGL for rendering performance. Perhaps Adobe Staff can help you make this decision easier.

Sorry but Premiere Pro does not use OpenGL for the MPE GPU Acceleration, it uses OpenCL for GPU Acceleration.  If you stay with your MacBookPro decision make sure you get it "Configurable to Radeon Pro 560 with 4GB of GDDR5 memory." and I would also suggest getting all the CPU you can afford like the "Configurable to 3.1GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 4.1GHz, with 8MB shared L3 cache." 

Also since it only has one internal SSD for storage get the upgraded larger size PCIe SSD

Forget the older model!  Too bad you cannot get more than 16 GB of memory as After Effects likes lots of RAM.

    I don't know if this will help you at all but I have the new MacBook Pro and Ive been using premiere for a couple of months now and its been working great.
