My experience with lossy formats (jpg or png) inside PPro has not been flawless. Also, since you're essentially re-encoding images, you sacrifice quality as well. Therefore, provided that hard drive space is not necessarily a limiting factor, I would convert to PSD files instead of JPGs. ... View more

There are several ways to achieve this effect. I would personally do this inside After Effects (as it is made for motion graphics), but here's how you can achieve this in PPro:   Step 1: Import the image and drag it out to the timeline Step 2: Right-click the image and choose Nest... Step 3: Use Crop effect to size the nested sequence to the desired size on the screen. You can drag out guidelines after activating the ruler in the Program window. Step 4: Open the nested sequence to perform an animation (e.g. go from top to bottom) using the scale and position effect in the Effects control panel Step 5: Toggle between the final sequence and the nested sequence to adjust the animation.   Hope this helps. ... You can choose how to distribute multiple objects by selecting the objects on the canvas in the Program Monitor, right click and choose the following options: - Align to Video Frame - Align to Video Frame as Group - Align to Selection   The stacking order can be altered from the Effects Control Panel by dragging and dropping the layers to the desired order.   Altogether, this is hopefully making life less complicated.   Hope this helps. ...
