Why does Premiere 2019 require 6th Generation Processors? AVX-512?

Could any engineers or Adobe reps clarify why Intel processors prior to the 6th generation core series would not meet the System Requirements for Premiere Pro 2019? It is because of their lack of AVX-512 support? Will version 12.1.2 be available indefinitely for those who are still running AVX-2 supported processors?

The engineers rarely come to this forum.

They do read the posts here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/ct-p/ct-premiere-pro?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=all&lang=all&tabid=bugs

Posted, please upvote. I would like clarification about the compatibility of Xeon series processors. Kevin-Monahan is there someone you could loop in for this question please?

Edit: This question also applies to whatever SIMD accelerated libraries would be available on an AMD, since their processors only support AVX-2.
