Adobe had the bright idea to discontinue sync

Some at Adobe had the bright idea to discontinue sync...you know, the whole reason why any of us are using the Creative Cloud in the first place. Support referred me to an article stating that sync was being discontinued. So basically, no one knows why, but looks like Adobe just wants to force everyone to upgrade. Support even suggested that I use a flash drive to save my projects on...thanks I'd love to go back to 2004. Adobe is a pitiful company now. I'm canceling my membership because of this.

All that's going away is that the files stored in the Creative Cloud Files folders will no longer sync to corresponding cloud storage.  The local stroage location can still function as a backup location.   Libraries and other cloud services remain unchanged.

The reason given for the cancellation of this feature is low user usage - but obviously frustrating for those of us that use it.

I used it mostly for saving a copy of the project file to the Creative Cloud Files folders that syncs with a corresponding cloud location.

I've replaced it for the time being by setting up the Premiere Pro folder in the Creative Cloud Files folder as a FrameIO Watch Folder (macOS only).  This folder now syncs to FrameIO (included and not affected by this change).

Another option is to set a OneDrive folder or an iCloud Drive folder as the Auto-save location for the Premiere Pro Project Settings (if not already doing so).  As a per-project setting it's a little more effort than an application preference, but works.

Saving a copy of a project to a USB Flash drive is a little old school, but a tried and true approach.

I'm hoping will see a "Save a copy of the project to FrameIO" preference.
