I’m having a dreadful time figuring out a burned-in time-code with a Ring video in which I need to slow a 4 or 5-second segment. The problem is that even though the Offset and Starting timecode are set to all zeros, the starting value in the video is not zero when the Clip Speed / Duration is not 100%. I’m using Generate Timecode. Other than wrong starting timecode (-01:00:28:14), the displayed timecode works as expected; i.e. the frame number changes according to the original frames, not the interpolated frames.

Trying to open Premier Pro, I get the above error message. My answer is "No. Absolutely not."Why on earth would I give any app whatsoever access to my entire documents folder, desktop and downloads? But it won't open otherwise, so I need a workaround. Fast.   2019 MBP running macOS 11.1. I'm really hoping this is a mistake.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Adobe customer support. I called to address a specific issue and, after clearly explaining my problem, requested to speak to a supervisor. Instead of connecting me, the representative put me on hold for several minutes only to return and ask me to explain my issue again!When I reiterated my request for a supervisor, I was told it would be a long wait. I agreed to wait, but the rep came back to say it would be too long. Despite my patience, she insisted on trying to fix the issue herself. She placed me on hold once more and then ended the call without resolution.I spent 30 minutes of my lunch break trying to resolve this issue, only to be treated with dismissiveness and inefficiency. This level of service is unacceptable and highly disappointing. Adobe needs to seriously improve its customer support procedures.

Seeing that Adobe is killing off Rush is a bad decision unless Premiere Pro embraces many of those light features.A lightweight, fast, east video tool has been an important part of our business. We can get stuff out easily and quickly then later finetune it for a more robust version.Plus...not all of us are iPhone users. I'd love to see what Adobe's plan is to support the features and functions many of us have come to count on!

Continuum 2026 Everything New in Five Minutes [Boris FX] Okay, this is actualy pretty amazing - looks like added some pretty cool things, but the jumpcut ML one might be the most usefull one yet. Its actualy pretty amazing, the video is ony 5 min long. Jumpcut ML is at 1:25, but the video has chapter marks.   The creative application of this effect looks very interesting, not to mention for interviews. lookign forward to hearing what people think of the effects, and how they are using them. 

In the Windows explorer, video with differnt extensions are placed in the same type. What is the reason?    

Amidst all the mobile video editing apps out there, I've always endorsed and recommended Premiere Rush (on iPhone) because it does one thing the others don't: handle multiple aspect ratios well. Often I'll shoot in 16:9, with the awareness that the middle section will be what's shown in a 9:16 version, when I duplicate the project to tweak it for the wide aspect ratio. It's so easy to translate an Instagram video into a YouTube one.I was excited at the announcement of Premiere for iPhone—finally an upgrade to an already great program in the ecosystem of the industry standard for professional video editing! However, I'm extremely disappointed at its launch version.My issue with the new Premiere for iPhone isn't a lack of handling aspect ratios; yes, it does that. But I've played around with the new mobile Premiere and am very frustrated that many basic features that are in Rush are not present. Things like Transform for scale, rotate, and position (the most basic thing!); fade to black

With Rush ending will we have an alternative to use on mobile?

Premier on desktop is great. Rush on the iPhone is like driving an old broken down car. Archaic tools which are too basic. Constant crashes, sound not working, import issues, can't even copy and past. And why is it even called Rush, what's Rush have to do with editing? I'm Rushing over and making the switch to Cap Cut on the 16 Pro Max. 

Why is this Premiere pro app such a pile of crap! I would use stringer language, but dont want offend or be removed. Usability issues: First of all, in the tutorial, it names the 4 panels but the four panels arent named. Why not place the name of each panel at the top, with so much to learn and remember, having to memorise the name of each panel (because they are nameless) is a waste of time Second, it doesnt explain where to find things, for example: "In the effects control panel" - where is the effects control panel? There is no direction, i found "effects" at the top of the page, that didnt have what I need in it. So where is it? If I have clicked on the right tab, why is "motion settings" not visible? And if I have clicked on the wrong tab why do you have two tabs called "effects"????? Third: Why can you cut but not paste? I cut a section, but then I couldn't paste it back in somewhere else. And if you can, why is that option not apparent with a right click?&nbs

Rush lets us animate flags, map movements, and school tributes without needing expensive gear or subscriptions. Please consider preserving Rush’s core features in Adobe Express or offering a legacy version for educational use. I have to be honest. I was VERY underwhelmed by this release. I spend at least half my year editing solely on the phone (I'm hiking with no computer, just phone). While the app's design is pleasant and speedy, it should have had at least parity with Rush. Transitions, effects, keyframes, at least. How many of these missing, and arguably basic, features will be locked behind the paid premium tier?  If you would finally step up and geniunely compete with Lumafusion, then it would be worth paying for premium tier. Now before all the Adobe moderators come after me for this comment, just listen.  Now, I know that Rush is going away in October.  But what is going to replace it?  I have a laundry list of issues I had with Rush, but I don't want to bore the Adobe community with my ideas and issues.  I have tried numerous times to create a video in Rush and upload it directly to my YouTube channel, and each time it has failed.  Why does this keep happening?  Then I have to save it to my photos on my iPhone and try to upload it to my YouTube channel.  However, each time I return to my computer, the video fails to upload.  It just CONTINUALLY states, "Video is processing."  I uploaded this video last Tuesday, and it is STILL processing?  Something feels very SUS.The crazy part is when I shared it to TikTok directly from Rush, it uploaded in less than a minute.  So it appears TikTok is more advanced than Adobe? I mean the video is almost 7

It figures.  Despite repeated attempts by paying customers saying over and over again that there is a need to be able to record legacy analog and digital formats, Adobe is abandoning a large number of people who need and use this feature.  Even to the point of taking away an old version of the Premiere Pro app (2023) that allowed us to do this work.  the same thing happened with Encore a number of years ago.  I feel totally betrayed by Adobe.  A large number of of video creators do not matter to Adobe at all.  Message recieved lound and clear.   I am actively looking for alternatives to Adobe.  I replaced PhotoShop with Affinity a few years ago - even though learning a new app set me back in my work.  Worth it.  It beats getting screwed and betrayed any time...

We just got a real kick in the head - Digital Juice has shut down with no warning whatsoever. We were a lifetime member. Now we have no source of video elements such as lower third graphic backgrounds, wipes, and other effects.I'd love to hear about other options. It looks like the templates on Adobe Stock are pretty limited.

At this point, something has to happen with this app!   Anyone know?   It would be great if they just knocked off Capcut.   CapCut is everything Adobe should be looking to replicate after introducing Adobe Express (which is essentially just a weaker Canva. )   Mod notes: Moved to the Video Lounge. I am on the search for a decent AI tool to clean up some old (town history) videos.  I gave up on Topaz a year ago because it didn't seem to really accomplish much and the price has gone way up.   I haven't seen anything like an Adobe Plug-in which is a little surprising.  Has anybody found something that works, Premiere related or standalone, to clean-up some older VHS era videos?

This is a real plyer icon. But you cannot see this icon when you import this video into PPr.  How is it possible? Is there any way in PPr to get rid of this icon? 

Well we are now comparing free software to a yearly subscription that's in the hundreds of dollars. That being said, Davinci Resolve does support .mkv files natively and has since version 17. Seems like Premiere is going backwards.As for Prores support, you can use the ffmpeg workaround to get the export in Resolve on Windows. For the cost of Davinci (free), I'm ok with that.   Mod note: off-topic conversation branched to the video lounge.

Looking for the best media player for Windows that supports alpha channels.  VLC will play .mov files with alpha but the colors are distorted.  VLC won't play video of .MXF files, just audio.  Thanks in advance.

I am trying to figure out if there is any way to create a template and then produce around 1000s of videos out of that either in premier PRO, ae OR PHOTOSHOP/
