I was just wondering if this is being planned for Premiere Pro, as I notice many other NLE's are offering this choice. Is there any timeline foer this to happen. Pete

Do you mean something other than Auto Color that uses Adobe Sensei ML technology to apply intelligent color corrections to video clips (introduced April 2022)?

PeruBob is spot-on, as always.

They do have two tools already. In the Lumetri Basic tab, there's the "Auto" button, which tries to set the white/black/contrast/saturation for a "normal" image. And in the Color Wheels tab, the "auto match" option to match towards another clip you select.

The one place you can check for upcoming things is the Premiere Pro Public Beta Forum.

That's where they test new tools & toys with the users. One can always have the current & any past versions installed, AND install the public beta alongside them.

Adobe generally doesn't announce something that big any place other than MAX.

Since MAX has recently passed, probably not soon, if at all.

However, it has been said that those who know don't tell, and those who tell don't know.
