Best F Stop?

I know this probably isn't the best place to ask this question.

But I'm just curious, what are most people's go to F Stops for different situations? (eg. F.8 for Wide)

I'm doing some travel videography soon and I just wanted to build a better understanding around faster and more effient ways of shooting, without wasting too much time.
