Capture Screen Video

Which Adobe Creative Cloud app can be used to capture/record a video on the computer screen - i.e. a webinar?  I thought there was an app called Captivate that did that, but it's not on my list of apps.

    Screen Capture http://www.toptenreviews.com/software/multimedia/best-video-capture-software/

NOTE - do NOT use a Variable Frame Rate capture setting... it does NOT edit well !!!

    Adobe Captivate 9

    Responsive screen capture:

Create a single responsive screen capture project that plays seamlessly across devices. Adobe Captivate detects screen activity in the recording window and automatically pans to those areas to create screen capture output for the tablet and mobile views.

Automatic screen capture with the smart full-motion recording:

Generate robust software simulations with multiple learning modes in a single recording session by capturing all on-screen actions, including mouse movements, system audio, and keyboard activity.

    High definition screencast:

Easily create high-quality product demos with the capture-as-a-video workflow. Edit video and add transitions, smart shapes, audio, and captions. Insert a talking head or another video in a picture-in-picture format. Publish to YouTube with a single click. or you can try alternative video editor like a Hotstar on pc.

If you working on a Mac:

without investment you can use Apple Quicktime to record your screen.

Otherwise, you can buy very good screen recorder as:

    Screen flow or Camtasia Studio

    or the old one SnapzPro.

If you want to record and manage a webinar you can buy a subscription of Adobe Connect:

Adobe web conferencing software | Adobe Connect

    Good luck

Captivate is not part of the CC package.

Why not?  Our library recently purchased the Adobe CC suite for our tech lab and thought we were getting this functionality with Premiere Pro.  We were obviously mistaken.  Why not include it in CC?

This is a public forum, not Adobe support

As such the other users who post here do not know why Adobe does, or does not, do something
