DO IT! Switch to Resolve. I tried putting together a 4K project with effects, colour correct nodes and fx and the smart cache made my playback smooth at full resolution on my threadripper 1950x with 1080ti. I'm going to buy the studio version this month. Forget Premiere its archaic
