FAO Dev: Premiere is slowest on comparison with its competitors

Hi Dev,

I just saw this on my Facebook feed  and it made for interesting reading. TLDR is that compared to other video editing softwares out there Premier is the slowest.

What's your take on it please?  And will steps be taken to speed up Premier?

    As our recent 14.2 release shows, we've been working on speeding up Premiere Pro for some time, and continue to do so.
