HDMI Computer Sound

This may be something that 'everyone' knows, but I didn't know until yesterday

I had never before connected a computer to a TV so I was 'somewhat' surprised while installing the most recent Win10 updates that the TV in a bedroom (close enough to use a long network cable) had sound without using the separate sound cable that I would use with small speakers... I had no idea that the motherboard HDMI connection also had sound
