Kickstarter info says:
Video specifications
Videos added to a project description must be 250MB or less and one of the following file types: MOV, MP4, or WMV. We take the video file you upload and create a 640 x 360 (16:9 ratio) version to display on your project page.
For video encoding, use WMV format in Windows. On Mac, use H.264. In both cases, the key variable is the “bit rate,” so look for that box. If it’s measured in kilobits per second (kbps), try 1500 to start. If it’s measured in megabits per second (Mbps), try 1.5. If the file is too big: make that number smaller. If the quality seems bad: make it bigger.
The "WMV" on windows does not sound right, but who knows what they want.
I don't know how Deposit Photos is handling their formats. One sample I looked at is available in 4 pixel resolutions, but the original appears to be 1080p (1920x1080 progressive, 16:9 ratio, 24 frames per second). but they offer it as 640X480 (normally 4:3 ratio).
We can't answer those questions here - you need help from Deposit Photos and then Kickstarter. We can help you with Premiere Pro once you know what the specs are.
Thanks Stan! I did contact Deposit Photos and they said they would email me an answer. That was three days ago. I don't think they know. lol
I tried it the easy way. Opened my kickstarter account, popped in the video I bought from Deposit Photos, and it looked great on the screen. So maybe the 240 size will work. If not, I will go by what you have written! Thanks! I really appreciate your time! The whole thing has made me cranky! Hope I didn't come across that way but if I did my sincerest apologies♥
I appreciate the offer to help with Premiere. I will probably have questions there too. lol
Many thanks again and may the good you gave to me, come back to you♥
