I ordered the 4k BMPCC

well, I ordered the 4k bmpcc just now from B&H. If you think YOUR ears get red when you hear some of the stuff I say to YOU, than trust me, what I wrote to the friend who sent me the original bmpcc with blemishes on chip is WAY more bonkers.... one of the world's best cinematographers ( really ) ... and I am totally freaked out about this whole mess.

 

So, now the cleaning thing is moot. I'll shoot full HD and have the xtra good thing of being able to shoot 120 fps. With the latest 15 version of resolve I should be cool with braw, but if not I can go with prores.

 

batteries, lenses, adapters, cards, should all be compatible. PORTION of full cage on original should fit the 4k.

 

So that's over.

    P.S. also sent early xmas card to him and family yeterday to beat the rush and give postal workers a break with that ( they have less employees and xmas cards are a giant 'extra load' for most postal zones ).
