Just another Adobe Issue

Just another Adobe issue I guess. There are so many. It hasn't always been this way.

    I will say, there are some of these things that are hanging on ... for a very small percentage of the user base. Overall, the app seems to be working rather well ... except for those, like you, that are getting crunched.

    Which is frustrating, maddening, infuriating, all of that. I've had some communications with a couple of the engineers about a couple issues, and they're frustrated also. They have "that" issue nailed now for the vast majority ... it was in one case a couple of actually allied things they fixed in code. BUT ... there are still a few people getting the exact same reaction. They have worked with specific users on it. Yup, it's happening, and everything that ​should​ have caused it to happen is fixed.

    And they can't replicate it on any other machine they have access to.

    That sort of loose-end drives an engineering mind around the bend.

    And is a right PITA for the user as well.

    Yet they continue to charge us monthly as if everything was working they way they think it should.

    Adobe is not what it used to be in my opinion. It's sad because they used to be leaders in this industry.

    They still are, really. And as noted, for the vast majority of users, this problem isn't occurring. It was hitting a ton more folks a couple releases back, and they've fixed several things that were causing it, so very few (percentage-wise) are still having this.

    As someone who is, your data is actually getting rather more crucial. So ... if you could please file this over on the UserVoice system ... that goes directly into the engineer's system, and also to the collated list seen by upper management for setting tasks and engineering budgets.

    Give full details of your problem and your computer, the precise version in number-dot-number form or Pr in use, and hopefully they can use your info and the others posting on this to finally nail this one completely.

    The list of bugs nailed over the last couple releases is quite long. There's always more to go, though ...
