Hi there, Im looking for an editor who is really good at using premiere pro to edit our film. It's not an easy Job and its not paid.  We are located in Auckland NewZealand.  The film is about loss of a loved one, that Journey and a reunion in the spiritworld.  This labour of love requires somone who is passionate about the message of the film and  possibly someone who has experienced a loved one passing away.  I know it might be a stretch asking for this but if you dont ask for what you want you will most certainly not get it. I'm believer that the right person is out there somewhere.  If your interested and can help please email me at [removed by moderator]

Thanks

With independent film production, it's common to put out a call for a video editor or a post-production consultant as "low pay, no pay, deferred pay".  Usually something is offered in return, be it paying for meals, software, or storage media and a contract will likely outline payment terms should the project gain financing.

I think you'll find plenty of users in the Adobe Community to answer questions as you go, but I'm not sure who'll be able to commit more than that.

Have you already tried some of the video editing groups on Facebook, Reddit, and Discord?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
