Premiere Pro can't even playback an h.264 OBS recordings
I'm honestly just thinking I will start learning to use Resolve and some of the other software out there. Between this issue, the issue that Premiere Pro can't even playback an h.264 OBS recordings without spending an hour creating a proxy or reencoding to a fixed frame rate, and then Adobe's consistent abuse to its customers by trying to lay the blame on the customers and their devices instead of owning up to the issues with their software. I'm just done... I can play the exact same files back perfectly with resolve, but premiere pro is so stuttery it is at times literally unusable without creating proxies. The only reason I paid for Premiere pro was that it had support for my video card and made exporting 100 times faster and I get a student discount. However, with having to create proxies and these other issues I may as well just use Resolve, and live with the hour long plus export times or pay the $300 for the studio version (that's a 1-time cost instead of yearly) that will give me NVEC encoding. Hindsight being I probably should have paid the $300 in the first place and never even bothered with Adobe as I have spent more money on Adobe's software than $300 at this point and it doesn't even work right. I'm disappointed I wasted this much time learning Adobe to only have their software be such trash. When a free software can do better than the software that costs $300 a year, there is something wrong. I have tried being nice and talked to support a few different times, I've called them out on Twitter, and at this point, Adobe is just a joke. Sorry, rant over.
