I am having serious problems as well. Keep in mind I am very good at tweaking out Premiere Pro. That being said Premiere Pro has some serious issues. Let the programmers know that with high quality playback enabled it does not matter if you select full resolution or 1/4 resolution the CPU utilization will be the same (BRAW and Pro Res). I had hoped to post a video by now but I am super busy. Maybe I will have it ready by Tuesday.

    Why was this separated from the original thread? It really does not make sense to separate it. No one is going to see it in the video lounge. It is as though Adobe is trying to hide negative posts. That is not cool and it says a lot about Adobe.

    Hi Andy,

    Sorry about that. I had to branch your thread because it was OT compared to the OP's issue, which was a macOS issue around power cutting out, and not much to do with your latest bug report (video). That's how I see it at least.

    As "Adobe" I'm not trying to "hide" anything. I just think your thread is OT. Not OT in general, but OT in the context of trying to help another with a totally different problem. The video lounge is the place for OT discussion. It's nothing personal.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    All the comments are about problems with the recent Premiere Pro update. It is good for people to know it is affecting the Macs and PCs. You should keep my posts in the Premeire Pro forum not place them in the video lounge.

    Kevin Monohan,

    You need to watch the video below. Having said that when is the CEO or the Project Managers going to chime in on these forums and adress the serious issue that Premeire Pro is pure crap at this point in time. I only upgrade once a year and everytime I have issues. I always wipe and reload Windows and tell other people to do the same but I refuse to do it again moving forward.

    @Andy 1968

    At the risk of being called a fanboy, sycophant, apologist or similar derogatory term, if you're going to call somebody out by name, you should at least do them the courtesy of spelling their name correctly.

    It's Monahan, not Monohan.
    Why would I bother to post this irrelevant bit of tripe? Because I've put up with people mispronouncing and misspelling my name my whole life. Kevin deserves to have more care taken than that.

    Jeff,

    Misspelling a person names gets you upset but you are OK with people being charged a monthly fee for buggy and unstable software? Adobe is making millions and we should have bug free stable software. Maybe the terms fanboy, sycophant and apologist are justified. I can now see the issues some people are having with Premiere Pro. I have not upgraded in over a year.  A miss spelled name should be a non issue in any discussion forum. You will have some people coming here for the first time with problems. Spelling Kevin's name correct is the least of their concerns. That being said Adobe should be concerned with bugs in their software. Do you now understand how the world works?

    You response proves that Adobe has the worst support forum on the Internet. Adobe needs to have a knowledgeable paid staff on the forums as opposed to volunteers like all other companies!
