Adobe Premiere team, you are incompetent and don't deserve the money you receive. A program that has been around for 20 years still continues to have issues with importing files due to the "Drag and drop" method where file names were mixed up in the cache memory during import, causing problems.

    It's important to note that the Media Browser is, for most formats, how to import media into a project.

    File > Import works well for a short list of file formats.

    Do you really think that is the solution for a professional software?
    While it allows us to use drag and drop how come it doesn't work correctly?

    just write "premiere drag drop import not working" in youtube and see how many people tried to find some primitive techniques to solve what you couldn solve for 20 years.
