If SureCode costs more than you want to pay to handle AC3 (Dolby)... you have choices

There are still NLE's that still support AC3/AVD

- PowerDirector Supports DD (AC3/AVD)

- VideoStudio Supports DD (AC3/AVD)

- Pinacle Supports DD (AC3/AVD)

- HitFilm Express allows DD (AC3/AVD) with $10 plugin (included in the Pro Version)

Why pay so much money for a DD License when you can get it cheaper.

Or you can use Hand-drake... which adds more workflow issues.

This way you can still use PPro, AE & Aud

I am glad I dumped this Subscription.

I mainly use PowerDirector, Hitfilm and Divanci Resolve.

    To confirm...

Davinci Resolve 14 does allow for AVCHD/MTS on WINDOWS 8 and up only. Not supported on Win 7

I know because I have Win 7 and any footage from my Sony MTS format doesn't import the audio

It does import the GoPRO format though.

Here is the thread on BlackMagic's forum from NOV 2017

I have already completed my first video project with Davinci... I LOVE the way they do keyframing

Will never go back to Adobe until they get their act together, fix their bugs and allow me to keep a version of the apps if I choose to unsubscribe again. Not paying all that money and not get software I can keep in exchange for the lousy PR and hassles I have to go through.
