I think R Neil says it best, I'd suggest match cuts, matching the flow of motion from 1 clip to the next as best you can, and also grading

The first thing is to have a good, tight story. The second, really co-equal, is excellent sound. With both depth and clarity.

After that, excellent shotmatching, so that "it looks like it was all seen with one set of eyeballs". And no cut from one clip to another seems out of line, or draws attention to itself.

Then, if worthwhile, perhaps a few aesthetic choices as far as making it look ... like something. Unified.
