    Hi Simon,

You can also add www.be-tunes.com to the list!

For me it is the best because there's only one License, the most free to use...

It is FREE, ROYALTY FREE and for Commercial Projects also!

Music are under Copyleft or Creative Commons Attribution License only...

    www.ironscores.com

Super easy licensing at $49 per track (instant download after purchase). All of the artists there are professional composers. Oh and they offer a 25% student/teacher discount (taken out of our percentage, not the composers'). That way each track is only $36.

And they have an album with free tracks to try out: Welcome To Iron Scores - FREE TRACKS – Ironscores

    LuckStock

    Pond5

    AudioJungle

All these sites have huuuge catalogues, and most of the music and SFX are pretty high quality. You can also download watermarked previews before you buy to check if it fits your project. Good luck!

These two sites each have lots of free music available, and many genres -- especially old time music. It may take some searching.

I've recently discovered a nice site for royalty free music http://luckstock.com - they have lots of tracks that are very cheap and they even offer some completely free. Check them out.

Free music is also available from the website RoyaltyFreeze.com. There is free background music available and every song of the stock music library is royalty free. It is indeed always very important to check out the license. Not only is royalty free music not free, in most cases performance rights must be paid on any public performance of the work.
