Question

Why are we being asked to create a feature request?

Why are we being asked to create a feature request for something that has been a part of the software for many years now?  A better feature request would be for Adobe to hire professionals, who work in creative production, to test their software releases. Anyone who uses the software in the 'wild' would have caught this and pointed it out very early on. We're all paying hard earned money for this software so please correctly beta test the apps before they release to those of us who use it professionally. Downgrading now until this is resolved.

It can be frustrating when software doesn't behave as we expect it to or doesn't have a feature we'd really like to see implemented.  I'd love to be able to use After Effects plugins directly in Premiere Pro starting with Detail-preserving Upscale, to export to Layered PSD from After Effects with editable text layers, to have the In/Out Duration in Premiere Pro to be an editable field (like Final Cut Pro classic), to reverse video in Premiere Rush, to have the same options for creating guides from Rulers as we do in InDesign in After Effects, so forth and so on.

Plenty of user ideas make it into the software.  Filter the list for "Released".

The teams do spend time at post production companies as well.

Most crashes are usually a conflict with graphics drivers or third-party effects, add-ons, and extensions.  Oh, and sometimes anti-virus software.  I think the strangest one I’ve ever run into is a fax driver causing all Source Footage in After Effects to show as 0 pixel by 0 pixel.

As far as holding back a version goes, I think that's a great approach.  I only recently moved up from 2023 to 2024 and while I have 2025 installed, I'll probably stay with 2024 until 2026 is close to being released.
