why doesn't Adobe add much needed features? Don't they consult editors?
Premiere has been out long enough that BASIC editing tools should and can be updated.
Final Cut and Avid both dinosaurs at this point are far better when working in intense editing projects.
Here's an example = grouped clips -- WE STILL can't match back to your new merged clip? How many years have we all been writing in asking for this?
(personally, me, 3 years)
It's not like that's hard code to write - Avid did it, Final Cut did it.
Yes, yes, I understand it creates a new clip - so do the other programs, that's no excuse.
Oh and "Show Original" function ?.... Almost always greyed out.
I highly recommend someone at Adobe to kindly run their next release with a professional editor and see your limitations before you release another bug-ridden update.
Oh and you should go to jail for releasing PP2018 touting the fact we can finally "share bins".
It doesn't work, it corrupts your project and NO ONE USES IT in the professional world.
How do you have the audacity to release a new program based around a feature that doesn't work? Unbelievable.
While your listening, um, could you fix the "search tool" bug and "Reveal in Project" hotkey bug, and AAF and OMF bugs in 2018-- we kinda use that shit a lot.
Did you UNWRITE that part of the code, or just screw it up?
