윈도우 업데이트 후 어크로뱃리더 화면 멈춤 (작동불가) / After updated Windows, Acrobat Reader freezes!!!

I have no problem to use Acrobat Reader DC in my laptop - Windows 10 at all.

However, I CANNOT read all PDF files by using this reader after updated Window systems yesterday.

(Window update history - KB4103729)

The reader freezes whenever I try to run the programme so i should do forced termination!!!

1. delete, and reinstall the reader - I did, not working at all

2. check the version of reader -  the latest version is installed.

3. ask MS -  MS said it is NOT their problem, and they asked me to contact you to solve this error.

Due to this error, i am not able to read my PDF textbook and cannot study for my exam!!!!

(Since this textbook is ONLY allowed to read by using your programme, other pdf readers are useless)

안녕하세요,

아크로뱃 리더 DC 버전을 윈도우 10에서 잘 사용하고 있었으나, 어제 업데이트 설치 이후 사용이 불가합니다.

프로그램을 실행하기만 하면 화면멈춤으로 넘어가고 (파일 읽기 없이도) 먹통이 되어 작업관리자에서 강제종료만을 해야 프로그램이 꺼집니다.

1. 삭제 후 재설치 해보았으나 소용 없음

2. 이미 최신 버전 설치함.

3. MS 사에 문의 (윈도우) - 자기들 문제가 아니라 Acrobat reader의 호환성 문제라고 함. Adobe 측에서 해결해줘야 한다고 함.

조만간 시험인데 pdf 교재를 읽을 수가 없어서 (아크로뱃 리더로만 작동합니다) 큰일 입니다.

빠른 해결 부탁 드립니다.

Sorry for the delay in response.

As the application freezes, try the troubleshooting steps mentioned here Troubleshoot Windows system errors, freezes | Adobe software.

Make sure that the application is updated to the latest version. Launch the application and go to Help > check for updates.

Refer this link Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader for more information on updates.

If that does not help, try to reset the application preferences.

Take help of the steps mentioned here How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.

If the issue still persists, run the cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs on your machine.

Then restart our machine and re-install the application from here Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution.
